conformance with 2019 CBC 1702 and 1704.6.
Please note, not all symmetric or repetitive areas were observed, therefore please have your field personnel verify the
correction items in all similar areas. Where repair recommendations are given, verify if additional coordination may be
necessary with other trades or design professionals. RFIs where requested must go to the Architect for distribution.
The structural observations do not constitute an approval of the work nor do they relieve the contr
agencies from complying with project and code requirements. All observations were conducted fri

Per the request of the site superintendent (Dalton Riehl, Murow Development Consultants), SA
Geotechnical, Inc. (SA GEO) has prepared this project memorandum documenting our geotechnical
recertification of Building Pads 5 and 6 at the subject site. SA GEO previously reported the observation
and compaction testing during grading of the subject building pads (SA GEO, 2023).
Esmaeel Ahrarinouri of SA GEO was onsite to observe and test the recently fine -graded subject building
pads after completion of utility construction adjacent to the building pads. Based on our observation and
testing, the compacted fill was found to be moist and dense/firm. The subject building pads are considered
suitable from a geotechnical viewpoint.

Dennys Pointon of SA Geotechnical, Inc. (SA GEO) was onsite to observe and document the foundation
excavations and slab subgrade for Buildings 5 and 6 at the subject site. The footing excavations generally
exposed undisturbed silty sand artificial fill that was placed during recent site grading, under the observation
and testing of SA GEO. The fill was found to be moist and medium dense. No groundwater or seepage was
observed.
The subject footing excavations are considered geotechnically acceptable for placement of steel and
concrete. Any loose material and debris should be removed from the footing excavation prior to placement
of concrete.
Our services do not include verification of line and grade for the subject footings, which is the responsibility
of others.
