AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
REPEALING TITLE 6, CHAPTER 6.95 OF THE
ANAHEIM NNNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO PUBLIC
HEALTH AND SAFETY AND ADDING CHAPTER 6.95
IN ITS PLACE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 6, Chapter 6.95 is hereby amended
by repealing Chapter 6.95 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.
SECTION 2.
That Title 6, Chapter 6.95 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code is hereby added to read as follows:
"Chapter 6.95 PERMIT FEES FOR LABOR CAMPS
6.95.010 Labor Camp Defined
6.95.020 Enforcement Responsibility
6.95.030 Permit to Operate Fees
6.95.040 Reinspection Fees
6.95.010 Labor Camp Defined. The words "Labor Camp"
as used in this chapter shall mean any labor camp, as
defined in Section 2616 of the California Labor Code,
maintained in connection with any agricultural operation.
6.95.020 Enforcement Responsibility. Pursuant to
Section 2640 of the California Labor Code, the City of Anaheim
has assumed responsibility for the enforcement of Chapter 4,
Part 9, Division 2 of the Labor Code in the incorporated
territory of the City of Anaheim in relation to labor camps;
and the City, pursuant to Resolution No. 76R-49 , designates
the County of Orange Health Department as the enforcement
agency for the City of Anaheim pursuant to Section 2640 of
the Labor Code.
6.95.030 Permit to Operate Fees. Pursuant to the
provisions of Section 2640 of the Labor Code, every person
applying for an annual permit to operate a labor camp shall
pay the following fees to the County Health Officer.
.010 A permit issuance fee of $25.00
.020 A permit to operate fee of $6.00 for each
employee which the labor camp has the capacity to house,
where such housing is supplied by the operator, and a fee of
$6.00 for each lot or site provided for parking of mobile homes
or recreational vehicles by employees.
.030 An amended permit fee of $25.00 for any
transfer of ownership or possession of the labor camp.

.040 An amended permit fee of $25.00, and other
fees specified in this section, for any increase in the number
of employees to be housed or an increase in the number of lots
or sites provided for parking of mobile homes or recreational
vehicles by employees.
6.95.040 Reinspection Fees. The fees for a permit to
operate shall be considered as inspection fees for the
initial annual inspection of a labor camp. When any rein-
spection is required pursuant to Title 25, California
Administrative Code, Section 2016.4, the operator shall pay
a fee for each such reinspection, as follows:
.010 Twenty-five dollars ($25.00), provided
that such inspection is not in excess of one hour's duration.
.02.0 If such inspection is in excess of one hour's
duration, twenty-five dollars ($25.00) plus twelve dollars
and fifty cents ($12.50) for each 30 minutes or fractional
part thereof in excess of one hour."
SECTION 3.
SEVERABILITY. The City Council of the City of Anaheim
hereby declares that should any section, paragraph, sentence or
word of this chapter of the Code hereby adopted be declared for
any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that
it would have passed all other portions of this chapter indepen-
dent of the elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be
declared invalid.
SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
