57R-3643 - - r RESOLUTION NO. 3643 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DEN~ING VARIANCE NO.678. WHEREAS, the City Planning.00mmission of the City of Anaheim did receive a petition from the owner and/or agent of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, descrihed as ~ollows: North 10 acres of East half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 27, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.& M. Excepting therefrom the north 348 feet. AND WHEREAS, the City Plannimg Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on the 17th day of December, 1956, notices of which said publiC hear- ing were duly given, as required by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due in- spection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 122, Series 1956-57, recommending that Variance No. 678 be denied; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the. acti,on of the Oi ty Planning Commission denying said vari- ance, and said appeal was set for public hearing on the 8th day of January, 1957, at 7:00 o'clock P. M., in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anahei~Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself ond in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find that: 1. There is no substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied the sub- ject property. 2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately developed and used under the present zone. r"'"' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Com- mission denyin~ Variance No. 678, requesting permission to erect one singLe-face 10' x 20' sign on the property herein- above described, said sign to be erected on the north property line of 11131 Harbor Boulevard, W/L South of Katella, Tract No. 2520, be) and the same is hereby sustained, and that Variance No. 678 be, and the same is hereby, denied.
