A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY ELECTRIC POWER LINE
OVERHANG PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for public utility
electric power line overhang purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM GIRL SCOUT
INC., a non- profit California corporation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for public
utility electric power line overhang purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for public utility electric power line over-
hang purposes over and across the Northerly five feet
and the Westerly five feet of that portion of the West
half of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter
of Section 17, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the
Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of
Broadway with the Southerly prolongation of the East line
of Lots 19 to 22, inclusive, of Tract No. 3562, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 128, pages 43 and 44 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
thence North 0 00' 48" West along said Southerly pro-
longation and along said East line 347.66 feet to the
South line of Lots 14 to 17, inclusive, of Tract No. 3562;
thence South 89 31' 00" East along said South line 155.08
feet; thence South 0 00' 48" East parallel with said East
line 90.71 feet; thence South 45 26' 28" West 23.79 feet;
thence North 89 33' 32" West 7.04 feet; thence South 0
00' 01" East 6.99 feet; thence South 45 26' 28" West
73.57 feet; thence North 89 33' 32" West parallel with
said center line 23.59 feet; thence South 0 00' 48" East
parallel with said East line 181.00 feet to said center
line; thence North 89 33' 32" West along said center
line, 55.06 feet to the point of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, ccepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
