63-0297WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utilit ur.oses and RESOLUTION NO. 63R -297 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE- MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell and convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of R. A. WATT CONSTRUCTION COMPANY a corporation organized under the laws of the State of California, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes and more particularly described as follows: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of Lot Three of the Stock- s =well Subdivision, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 6, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot Three of the said. Stockwell Subdivision, for the purpose of this description, said corner is considered as being the intersection of the South line of said Lot Three with the center line of Raymond Avenue; thence Westerly along the South line of said. Lot Three a distance of 60.10 feet; thence Northerly along a line parallel with the center line of said. Raymond Avenue to an intersection with a line parallel with and 32.00 feet Northerly (as measured at right angles from the Southerly line of said Lot Three) said point of inter- section being the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 15 feed.; thence Easterly and Northerly along said curve through a central angle of 90 07' 16" an arc distance of 23.59 feet, to an intersection with a line parallel with and 45.00 feet Westerly of the center line of said Raymond Avenue; thence Easterly along a line parallel with the Southerly line of said Lot Three to the center line of said Raymond Avenue; thence Southerly along the center line of said Raymond Avenue to the point of beginning, EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 45.0¢;) feet thereof and the Southerly 32.00 feet thereof. -1- For the purpose of this description the center line of Raymond Avenue is assumed to be the East line of said Lot Three. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
