57R-4279 -- -, RESOLUT ION NO. 4279 r A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING SPECIAL USE PERMIT NO. 10. WHEREAS, on or about the 29th day of August, 1957, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did re- ceive a request for a Special Use Permit from Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Trexel, 296 Argonne Avenue, Long Beach 3, California, designated as Special Use Permit No. 10, requesting permis- sion to establish and operate a trailer park on the real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: The North half of the North half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 14, in Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian. (Said property is located at 9242 Knott Avenue. ) AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said request on October 7, 1957, notices of which said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did continue said hearing to a later date; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearings, did adopt Resolution No. lll--Series 1957-58, granting said Special Use Permit No. 10 upon the conditions therein set forth; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City Planning Commission grant- ing said Spec i al Use Permi t, and s aid appeal was set for public hearing on the 17th day of December, 1957, at 7:00 o'clock P.M., in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the proviSions of Section 9200.17 of t he Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard; and r"- WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find that: 1. There is no substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied the sub- Ject property. -1- .--. '....--.... _?- ~ r- r 2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately developed and used under the present zone. NOVl, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission granting the request of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Trexel, 296 Argonne Avenue, Long Beach 3, CalifornIa, to establish and operate a trailer park on the property hereinabove de- scribed, be, and the same is hereby disapproved, and that Special Use Permit No. 10 be, and the same is hereby denied.
