NC. 355.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit from
DOROTHY ANTES, 2021 Blanchard, Anaheim, California, to permit the
operation of a dance instruction studio and a hofbrau in an exist-
ing building located on the followin described property situated
in the City of 'naheim, County of Orane, State of California, to
wit:
All that certain real property situated in the
Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in the City
of Anaheim, described as follows;
Beginning at a point 49.25 feet South of the
Northwest corner of the South one-half of the
Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
Section 12, in Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
San Bernardino Base and Meridian, and running
thence South along the West line of said North-
west quarter, 85 feet; thence East 150 feet;
thence North, parallel with the West line of
said Northwest quarter, 85 feet; thence West,
150 feet to the point of beginning.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said
request on February 4, 1963, notices of which said public hearing
were duly given as required. by law and the provisions of Title
18, Chapter 13.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in-
vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at
said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 621, Series 1962-63,
denying Conditional Use Permit No. 355; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two days from the
date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was
filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting
the action of the City Planning Commission denying said Condi-
tional Use Permit, and said appeal was set for public hearing on
March 5, 1963, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City
of Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as
required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed, for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to
be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful con-
sideration of the recommendations of the City Planning Commission
and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that Con-
ditional Use Permit No. 355 should be denied;

NOW, THEREFOIZE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of flaheim that the action of the City Planning Commis-
sion denying Conditional Use Permit No. 355 be, and the same is
hereby sustained, and that the request of DOROTHY ANTES, 2021
Blanchard, Anaheim, California, for a Conditional Use Permit to
operate a dance instruction studio and a hofbrau in an existing
building situated on the property hereinabove described be, and
the same is hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and sir4ned by me
this 5th day of March, 1963.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 5th day of
March, 1963.
