A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ASCERTAINING AND DETERMINING THE
PREVAILING RATE OF WAGES TO BE PAID FOR EACH
CRAFT, OR TYPE OF WORKMAN OR MECHANIC NEEDED
FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS FOR THE FURNISHING
OF ALL MATERIALS, PLANT, LABOR AND SERVICES
FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE ASSEMBLY HALL FLOOR
IN THE LA PALMA PARK RECREATION BUILDING, 1155
NORTH LOS ANGELES STREET, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
JOB NO. 786.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find and determine that public convenience and necessity require
the acquisition of materials, plant, labor and services for a
public improvement consisting of the improvement of the Assembly
Hall floor in the La Palma Park Recreation Building, 1155 North
Los Angeles Street, in the City of Anaheim, Job No. 786; and
WHEREAS, Section 1770 of the Labor Code of the State
of California requires that the City Council ascertain and
determine the general prevailing rate of hourly wages and rates
for legal holidays and overtime work on public works and im-
provements in the locality in which the work is to be performed,
for each craft or type of workman, laborer or mechanic needed
for the execution of such public contracts and the making of
such public improvements, and for the furnishing of all plant,
labor, services, materials and equipment and performing all
work necessary for the execution and completion of such public
contracts or improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that, in accordance with the provisions of
Section 1770 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the
City Council has ascertained and does hereby determine the
general prevailing rate of hourly wages and rates for legal
holidays and overtime work on public works, and the public im-
provement consisting of the improvement of the Assembly Hall
floor in the La Palma Park Recreation Building, 1155 North Los
Angeles Street, in the City of Anaheim, Job No. 786, in the
locality in which such work is to be performed, and each craft
or type of laborer, workman or mechanic needed for the execution
of public works contracts for furnishing all plant, materials,
labor, services and equipment for the above mentioned public
improvement, and that said prevailing rates so determined are
as follows:

Floor Layer $4.93
Electrical Workers:
Journeyman 5.26
Painter (brush) 4.25
Laborer 3.36
Plus fringe labor costs as set forth in the Southern
California Master Labor Agreement of June, 1963.
Health and Welfare payments shall be made in accordance
with the Southern California Master Labor Agreement.
