A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUND-
ARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Pro-
ceedings No. 62 107 to consider an amendment
to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning,
and to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing
did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing thereon the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolu-
tion containing a report of its findings, a summary of the
evidence presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that
the proposed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that
a certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth;
and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 25th day
of June 19 63 as the time and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hal the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said prop-
erty, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in which
it is now situated, and the incorporation thereof in the zone
or zones hereinafter set forth; and did give notice thereof
in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing, and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings, and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:

PARCEL 1:
Lot 11 in Block 9 of the Golden State Tract, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 4, pages 66 and 67 of Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
PARCEL 2:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 9 in Block K
of the Kraemer Tract, according to a survey by Knox in
1882, and as shown on a Map recorded in Book 12, pages
87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California; running thence Northerly along the
Easterly boundary line of said Lot 9, 10 chains; thence
Westerly at right angles 5 chains; thence Southerly
parallel to the East line of said Lot 10 chains, more
or less, to the Southerly boundary of said Lot; thence
Easterly 6 chains to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING from Parcels 1 and 2 that portion lying
Southerly of the following described line:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Anaheim Road
distant along said center line South 74 00' 46" West,
2218.37 feet from the intersection of the center lines
of Anaheim Road and Blue Gum Street, shown as an un-
named street adjoining Block 8 of said Tract on the
East as said center lines are shown on said Map; thence
North 15 59' 14" West, 30.00 feet to a line parallel
with and distant Northerly 30.00 feet, measured at right
angles from said center line of Anaheim Road; thence
along said parallel line, North 74 00' 46" East, 50.00
feet to a tangent curve concave Northwesterly having a
radius of 220.00 feet; thence along said curve, North-
easterly, through an angle of 26 00' 49 an arc dis-
tance of 99.89 feet; thence tangent to said curve,
North 47 59' 57" East, 77.56 feet to a tangent curve
concave Southerly having a radius of 280.00 feet; thence
along said last mentioned curve, Easterly, through an
angle of 51 10' 00" an arc distance of 250.05 feet;
thence tangent to said last mentioned curve, South 80
50' 03" East, 87.67 feet to a tangent curve concave
Northerly having a radius of 220.00 feet; thence along
said last mentioned curve, Easterly through an angle of
25 09' 11" an arc distance of 96.58 feet; thence tan-
gent to said last mentioned curve, North 74 00' 46"
East, 27.61 feet to a tangent curve concave Northerly
having a radius of 220.00 feet; thence along said last
mentioned curve, Easterly, through an angle of 15 00'
49" an arc distance of 57.65 feet; thence tangent to
said last mentioned curve, North 58 59' 57" East, 33.04
feet to a tangent curve concave Northwesterly having a
radius of 90.00 feet; thence along said last mentioned
curve, Northeasterly, through an angle of 44° 25' 55"

be excluded from R -A, RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and incor-
porated in R -3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
1. That a final Tract Map of subject property shall
be recorded in the Office of the Orange County
Recorder.
2. That the owner of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwell-
ing unit, to be used for park and recreation
purposes, said amount to be paid at the time
the building permit is issued.
3. That trash storage areas shall be provided in
accordance with standard plans on file in the
Office of the Director of Public Works and
Superintendent of Streets, prior to final build-
ing inspection.
4. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans and specifi-
cations on file with the City of Anaheim, marked
"Exhibits Nos. 1, 2 and 3, Revision No. 1."
5. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed
along the northerly property line, prior to
final building inspection.
That a bond in an amount and form satisfactory
to the City of Anaheim shall be posted with the
City to guarantee the construction of a wall
along the easterly property line, which bond
shall be posted prior to final building
inspection.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and deter-
mined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 25th day of June, 1963.
