WHEREAS, said defendant has this day submitted a deed
to the City Council conveying said real property to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Corporation Grant Deed this day sub-
mitted to the City Council by the Corporation of the Presiding
Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints, a Utah
Corporation Sole, granting to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property in the County of Orange, State of Califor-
nia, to wit:
The South 330.00 feet of the East 20 acres of the
Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Sec-
tion 28, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the
Rancho Las Bolsas, City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of said. County;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of .Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the Director of Finance be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to deliver to the City Attorney's office
the sum of $132,354.25, made payable to the Corporation of the
Presiding Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day
Saints, a Utah Corporation Sole, together with $145.75 in revenue
stamps for affixation to said. deed.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of June, 1963.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
heretofore, by resolution adopted on April 10, 1962, authorize
and direct the initiation of condemnation proceedings, which
resulted in the commencement of Orange County Superior Court
Case No. 103475 being entitled, "City of Anaheim vs. Alvin F.
Siewert, et al. and
WHEREAS, the Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints, a corporation,
one of the defendants to said litigation and owner of a portion
of the property sought to be condemned, offered to sell and con-
vey said, property to the City for the sum of $132,500; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that
said offer is fair and reasonable and should be accepted and said
sum, less the sum of $145.75 representing the cost of revenue
stamps, be paid to said defendant upon receipt of a good and
sufficient deed conveying said property to the City of Anaheim;
and
