A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED AND THAT THE BOUND-
ARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Pro-
ceedings No. 62 -63 -108 to consider an amendment
to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning,
and to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing
did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing thereon the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolu-
tion containing a report of its findings, a summary of the
evidence presented at said hearing, and a recommendation that
the proposed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that
a certain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth;
and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings, and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission the City Council did fix the 28th day
of May 19 63 as the time and the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said prop-
erty, hereinafter described, from the zone or zones in which
it is now situated, and the incorporation thereof in the zone
or zones hereinafter set forth; and did give notice thereof
in the manner and form as provided in said Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing, and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the summary of evidence presented at
said public hearing before the Planning Commission, its report
of findings, and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be adopted and that the property hereinafter described
should be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter
set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended and that the following
described property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:

All that real property in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, being that protion of
the East half of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section 14, Township 4 South, Range 11 West
in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as said Section is shown on
the map recorded in Book 51, Page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the South line of
said East half with the Westerly line of the land
conveyed to the State of California by deed recorded
December 19, 1951 in Book 2265, Page 509 of Official
Records, records of said County, said Westerly line
being the arc of a curve concave Westerly and having
a radius of 15,934.00 feet, a radial line of said
curve bears North 89 08' 47.13" East; thence North-
erly, along said Westerly line and along the Westerly
line of land of the State of California granted by other
deeds of record, through a central angle of 1 07 24.13"
a distance of 312.41 feet; thence, tangent to said curve,
North 1 58' 37" West 320.60 feet to the beginning of
a tangent curve concave Easterly and having a radius of
16,066.00 feet; thence Northerly, along said curve,
through a central angle of 1 07' 35.29 a distance
of 315.87 feet to the North line of the South 8.00
acres of the North 13.00 acres of said East half; thence
South 89 40' 35" West, along said North line 599.73
feet to the West line of said East half; thence
South 0 14' 09" East, along said West line, 1012.34 feet
to said South line; thence North 89 36' 58" East,
along said South line 622.95 feet to the point of
beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the land conveyed
to the State of California by deed recorded December 19,
1951 in Book 2265, Page 509 of said Official Records;
thence, along the Westerly line of the land of the
State of California granted by other deeds of record,
North 1 58' 37" West 154.10 feet to the beginning of
a tangent curve concave Easterly and having a radius
of 16,066.00 feet; thence Northerly, along said curve,
through a central angle of 0 13' 29", a distance of
63.01 feet; thence South 89 40' 53" West, parallel
with the North line of said Section a distance of
200.00 feet; thence South 0 19' 07�' East, 217.00 feet;
thence North 89 40' 53" East 206.16 feet to the point
of beginning.
be excluded from R -A, RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and incor-
porated in R -3, MULTIPLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
1. That a final tract map of subject property shall
be recorded in the Office of the Orange County
Recorder.
2. That the owners of subject property shall pay to
the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling
unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes,
said amount to be paid at the time the building
permit is issued.
3. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as
determined and required by the Street Maintenance
and Sanitation Division of the Public Works
Department, which areas shall be enclosed by a
solid fence or wall prior to final building
inspection.
4. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans on file
with the City of Anaheim, marked "Exhibits Nos.
1, 2, 3, and 4," and in conformance with all
R -3, MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, Code
requirements.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and
determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 28th day of May, 1963.
