A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR A SEWER LINE AND A TEMPORARY
CONSTRUCT RT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municip:1 purposes, to wit: An easement for a sewer line
and a temporary construction easement
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HUBERT D. HOWELL and
EVELYN L. HOWELL husband and wife, and CLYDE E. HOWELL and
ESTHER L. HOWELL, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for a sewer
line and a temporary construction easement
and more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE:
A permanent easement for the installation and mainten-
ance of an 8 -inch sewer line over, under and across the
Northerly 10.00 feet of the Southerly 100.00 feet of
the following described property:
Beginning at a point 903.7 feet North of the Southwest
corner of Lot 9 of the Fletcher Tract, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 3, page 320 of Miscellaneous Records
of Los Angeles County, California; running thence
South 89 28' 30" East 149.10 feet; thence
North 0 31' 30" East 713.50 feet to the Westerly line
of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana; thence along said
Rancho Line South 41 05' West 701.18 feet; thence
Southerly in a direct line 180.75 feet to a point
306.60 feet due West of the point of beginning; thence
East along the North line of a tract of 17.83 acres
conveyed by M. C. Cooper and Mary E. Cooper, his wife,
to E. J. Eaton, et al, by deed dated December 12, 1914,
recorded January 7, 1915, in Book 265, page 180 of
Deeds, records of Orange County, California, a distance
of 306.60 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL TWO:
A temporary construction easement 15.00 feet in width
lying parallel with and South of the above Parcel No. 1.
The North line of said temporary easement being the
South line of Parcel One.
Note: The above described temporary easement to become
null and void upon completion of said sewer line.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
