A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. +76
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receivee a request for a Conditional Use Permit from
Shirley J. Wall, 1409 Skyline Drive, Fullerton, California to
establish a children's day nursery on the following described
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,State
of California, to wit:
That portion of Lot 15 of Anaheim Extension, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on e
map of survey made by William Hamel and filed in the office
of the county recorder of Los Angeles County, a copy of which
is shown in book 3, page 163, et seq., entitled "Los Angeles
County Maps" in the office of the county recorder of said
Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwesterly corner of Lot 1 of Tract No.
16b3; thence North 74° 361 05" East 206.00 feet along the North-
erly line of said Tract No. 1683; thence North 15 22' 55" West
109.00 feet parallel with the Westerly line of said Lot 15 and
being along the boundary line of Tract No. 2368, as per map
recorded in book 65, page 39, Miscellaneous Maps, in the office
of the county recorder of said Orange County; thence South �4
36' 05" West 190.00 feet along the boundary line of Tract No.
2368 to the beginning of the tangent curve, thereon, having a
radius of 16.00 feet; thence Westerly, Southwesterly and South-
erly 25.13 feet along said curve to a line tangent; thence
South 15 22' 55" East 93.00 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the East 56.00 feet thereof.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon
said request on aPntember 16. 1963 notices of which
said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the
provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in-
vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence end reports offered at
said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No.907 Series 19Q
den_y Conditional Use Permit No. 476
and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal
was filed with the City Council protesting the action of the
City Planning Commission in denying s -id Conditional
Use Permit and said appeal was set for public hearing on

October 29th 19 63 at the City Hall, in the City
of Anaheim, and notices of such public hearing were duly given
as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter
18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hear-
ing, that Conditional Use Permit No. 476 should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Com-
mission denying Conditional Use Permit No. 476 be,
and the same is hereby sustained and that the request of
Shirley J. Wall for a Conditional Use Permit to establish a
children's day nursery on the property hereinbefore described,
be, and the same is hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
