A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND
DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST
AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE ACQUISITION,
CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF A
PUBLIC UTILITY EXTENSION AND PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT, CONSISTING OF ELECTRIC
LIGHT, HEAT AND POWER LINES AND WORKS
IN CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND THE ACQUISITION THEREOF
BY THE CITY OF ANAHEIM BY EMINENT
DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY
IN SAID CERTAIN PORTIONS OF SAID CITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY.
OF ANAHEIM:
SECTION 1. It is hereby found and determined
that the public interest and necessity require the
acquisition, construction and completion of a public
utility extension and public improvement, consisting
of electric light, heat a power lines and works in
the City of An helm ;s hereinafter more particularly
described in the appendix attached hereto and by this
reference made part hereof, to be used for and
necessary for
(1) the transmission and distribution
of electricity for the purpose of
furnishing and supplying electric
light, he.t and power to the City
of Anaheim and certain of the
inhabitants thereof; and
(2) the proper development and control
of such use of such electricity, at
this time, rand the future proper
development and control thereof,
as apart of the electrical system owned and operated
by the City of Anaheim for furnishing and supplying
electrical energy to said City and certain of the
inhabitants thereof.
SECTION 2. The public interest and necessity
require the taking and acquisition by the City of
Anaheim for said public utility extension and public
improvement and use, of the electric light, heat and
power distribution and communication system of the
Southern California Edison Company located within said
certain portions of the City of Anaheim, as shown on
Appendix 1, Sheets 1 to 60, both inclusive, attached
hereto, including:

The Council hereby finds that the taking of the property
described above is necess ry for the said public utility extension
and public improvement.
SECTION 3. Said public improvement is planned and
located in the manner which will be most comp.tible with the
greatest public good and the least private injury.
SECTION 4. The City Attorney of the City of Anaheim is
hereby directed to bring an action in the Superior Court of the
State of California, in and for the County of Orange, in the name
of the City of Anaheim to condemn by eminent domain proceedings
the property described in Section 2 hereof.
SECTION 5. For the purposes of bringing such an action,
the City Attorney is hereby empowered to incur in the name of and
on behalf of said City, all obligations and expenses incidental
thereto.

ITEM 3
All rights of way, easements, interests, licenses, franchises,
and rights pertaining to any p..rt of the distribution system
of said Southern California Edison Company now held, owned, or
used by said Southern California Edison Company for the erec-
tion, construction, maintenance, or operation of that portion
of the distribution and communication systems to be taken by
the City and described above in Items 1 and 2.
ITEM 4
All commercial and engineering maps and records of said
Southern California Edison Company used or useful in locating,
identifying and operating the above described properties or
any part thereof, sought to be condemned, meter records, trans-
former records, billing records, service records, consumers'
service contracts, and all other records necessary or conven-
ient in recording, billing or collecting for electric service
in said certain portions of the City of Anaheim and for main-
taining s,: id distribution system nd each and every part
thereof, sought to be condemned.
