A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A RANT ?>.D
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR RQA D AND PI T T�i T
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
nu1lic utility purposes
and
the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of FRANCIS J. SCHILLER AND
ROSEMARY T. SCHILLER; STEPHEN J. HANTEN AND GEORGIA P. HANTEN:
GERALD H. EVERS AND BARBARA 2, EVERS.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following describe rd"
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across that parcel of land being a portion of Fractional Section 5,
Township 11 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B.& M., as per an official
plat of said land filed in the District Land Office March 23,
1875, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot One of said Section 5,
for the purpose of this description said Southeast corner is
assumed to be center line intersection of Jefferson Street and
La Palma Avenue (formerly known as Corona Street); thence
Northerly along the center line of said Jefferson Street a
distance of 203.00 feet; thence Westerly along a line parallel
with the center line of said La Palma Avenue to an intersection
with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Westerly (as measured
at right angles from the center line of said Jefferson Street)
thence Southerly along the last mentioned parallel line a dis-
tance of 125.00 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Northwesterly and having a radius of 25 feet; thence
Southerly and Westerly along said curve through a central angle
of 89 59f 50" an arc distance of 39.27 feet to an intersection
with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Northerly (as measured
at right angles from the center line of said La Palma Avenue);
thence Westerly along the last mentioned parallel line to an
intersection with a line parallel with and 203 feet Westerly
of the center line of said Jefferson Street; thence Southerly
along the last mentioned parallel line to the center line of
said La Palma Avenue; thence Easterly along the center line of
said La Palma Avenue to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 1st day of October 19 63
