A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and pub-
lic utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JACK H. WOOD and MARJORIE
JEAN WOOD, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement
for road and public utility purposes, and more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the West 132.00 feet
of the East 529.00 feet of the North half of the North-
west quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 24,
Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los
Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the West 132.00 fee
of the East 529.00 feet of the North half of the North-
west quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 24;
thence Westerly along the North line of the West 132.00
feet of the East 529.00 feet of the North half of the
Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section
24 to an intersection with a line parallel with and one
foot Westerly of the Easterly line of said Westerly 132.00
feet; thence Southerly along the last mentioned parallel
line to the intersection with the South line of the North
half of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of
said Section 24; thence Westerly along the South line of
the North half of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast
quarter of said Section 24 a distance of 13.00 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly
and having a radius of 38.00 feet; thence Westerly and
Northerly along said curve through a central angle of
114 37' 12" an arc distance of 76.02 feet to a point,
said point being the beginning of a reverse curve concave
Westerly and having a radius of 50.00 feet; thence North-
erly along said reverse curve through a central angle of
24 37' 12" an arc distance of 21.49 feet to an inter-
section with a line parallel with and 44.00 feet Westerly
of the East line of the West 132 feet of the East 529
feet of the North half of the Northwest quarter of the

Northeast quarter of said Section 24; thence North-
erly tangent to the last mentioned curve along the
last mentioned parallel line to an intersection with
a line parallel with and 67.95 feet Southerly of the
North line of the West 132.00 feet of the East 529.00
feet of the North half of the Northwest quarter of the
Northeast quarter of said Section 24, said North line
also being the center line of Ball Road, said point of
intersection being the beginning of a tangent curve
concave Southwesterly azd having a radius of 15.00
feet; thence Northerly and Westerly along said curve
through a central angle of 89 53' 28" an arc distance
of 28.14 feet to an intersection with a line parallel
with and 53.00 feet Southerly, as measured at right
angles from the center line of said Ball Road; thence
Westerly along the last mentioned parallel line tangent
to said curve to an intersection with the West line of
the East 529.00 feet of the North half of the Northwest
quarter of the Northeast quarter of said Section 24;
thence Northerly along the said West line to the center
line of said Ball Road; thence Easterly along the center
line of said Ball Road, also being the North line of the
West 132.00 feet of the East 529.00 feet of the North
half of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter
of said Section 24, to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($i.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 17th day of September 1963.
