A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR EASEMENTS FOR ROAD, PUBLIC UTILITY AND
ALLEY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for road, public
utility and alley purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the
City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JACK W. RUMBAUGH and
VERA M. RUMBAUGH, husband and wife, as joint tenants, as to an
undivided one -half interest; and EARL F. HOFFMAN and ESTHER M.
HOFFMAN, husband and wife, as joint tenants, as to an undivided
one -half interest, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for easements for
road, public utility and alley purposes, and more particularly
described as follows:
PARCEL ONE:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the Southerly 32.00 feet (as measured
at right angles from the center line of Sycamore Street)
of the following described parcel of land:
That portion of the Southerly 2 acres of the Northerly
5.97 acres of the Westerly rectangular half of Vineyard
Lot B2, as shown on said lot on a Map of Anaheim,
recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, lying
Easterly of the Easterly line of Tract No. 1546, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 45, page 35 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 49 feet of the Southerly
132 feet thereof.
PARCEL TWO:
An easement for alley and electric power line overhang pur-
poses over, under and across the Westerly 8.00 feet of the
following described parcel of land:
That portion of the Southerly 2 acres of the Northerly
5.97 acres of the Westerly rectangular half of Vineyard
Lot B2, as shown on said lot on a Map of Anaheim, recorded
in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, lying Easterly of
the Easterly line of Tract No. 1546, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 45, page 35 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County.

EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Westerly 49 feet of the
Southerly 132 feet thereof.
Note: The Easterly 5.00 feet of the above described
8.00 foot easement in Parcel Two shall be used for
electric power line overhang purposes only.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 3rd day of September 19 63
