A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE-
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
_public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of RENBAR, INC.. a corpora

to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Southerly 45.00 feet (as measured at right
angles from the center line of Broadway) of that portion of
Lot 8 of Helen and Lynch's Subdivision of the West half of
Section 16, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 442, page 158 of Deeds, in the office of the County Re-
corder of Los Angeles County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the land described in the
deed to Fred L. Stern and wife, recorded January 30, 1963, in
Book 6413, page 293 of Official Records, said point being in
the center line of Broadway, as conveyed to the County of
Orange, said Southwest corner being distant along said center
line 260.17 feet, more or less, East from the Southwest cor-
ner of. said Lot 8, running thence West along said center line
80.17 feet, more or less, to a point 180.00 feet from the
Southwest corner of said Lot 8; thence North parallel to the
West line of said Lot 8 to the intersection with a line which
is parallel with and distant 110 feet South from the South
line of Mable Street, 60 feet in width; thence Easterly along
said parallel line 80.17 feet, more or less, to the Northwest
corner of said land of Stern;. thence South along the West
line of said land of Stern to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of August 19 63
