A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASE
MENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of PSYCHOLOGICAL GUIDANCE
CENTER. INC..
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Southerly 53.00 feet (as measured at right
angles to the center line of La Palma Avenue) of that por-
tion of Lot 10 of Miles Rancho, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 4, page 7 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of land conveyed to David
Corderman by deed recorded July 29, 1942 in Book 1156, page
18 of Official Records; thence South 89 42' 00" West along
the South line of said land 25.00 feet to the Southeast cor-
ner of land conveyed to George C. Scholl by deed recorded
October 27, 1959 in Book 4942, page 449 of Official Records;
thence along the boundary of Scholl, North 0 24' 00" West
160.00 feet, and South 89 42' 00" West 117.19 feet to the
Northeast corner of land conveyed to James M. Duffy by deed
recorded April 21, 1960 in Book 5202, page 431 of Official
Records; thence South 89 42' 00" West 50.00 feet to the
East line of land conveyed to Jess Leos by deed recorded
June 21, 1954 in Book 2753, page 106 of Official Records;
thence North 0 29' 10" West along said East line 63.00 feet;
thence North 89 42' 00" East parallel with the South line of
said lot, a distance of 15.00 feet; thence North 0° 29' 10"
West parallel with the West line of said lot a distance of
62.00 feet; thence North 89 42' 00" East parallel with the
South line of said lot a distance of 177.38 feet to the East
line of said land of Corderman; thence South 0° 24' 00" East
along said East line 285.00 feet to the point of beginning.
For the purpose of this description, the Southerly line of
said Lot 10 is assumed to be the center line of La Palma
Avenue.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of AUGUST 19 63
