RES-2025-002RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 002 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.2024-079, AS AMENDED, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING, DELETING AND/OR MODIFYING CERTAIN CLASSIFICATIONS, RATES OF COMPENSATION, AND PAY POLICIES FOR CLASSIFICATIONS DESIGNATED AS NON - REPRESENTED FULL-TIME AND PART-TIME EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, Section 1.05.020.0103 of the Anaheim Municipal Code requires the Human Resources Director to maintain and administer the position classification and compensation plan; WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated January 14, 2025, that the need exists to create, delete and/or modify certain classifications, rates of compensation, and pay policies for classifications designated as Non -Represented Full -Time and Part -Time Employees effective the pay period beginning January 17, 2025; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2024-079 has established and modified classifications, rates of compensation, and pay policies for Non -Represented Full -Time and Part -Time Employee classifications; and WHEREAS, such additions, deletions and modifications require an amendment to Resolution No. 2024-079, as amended; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that creating, deleting and/or modifying such classifications and pay policies for classifications designated as Non - Represented Full -Time and Part -Time Employee is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: SF.CTTnN 1 _ 1. That effective the pay period beginning January 17, 2025, Appendix F, Non - Represented Part -Time Classifications of the Personnel Rules and Policies Covering Non - Represented Full -Time and Part -Time Employees, is hereby amended by deleting the classification titles for the following classifications: 1 Title Code Classification Title C22 Crowd Control Supervisor R05 PT Community Service Outreach Worker R33 PT Customer Services Specialist II J25 PT Data Processing Clerk S83 PT Electric Crew Supervisor J67 PT Fire Safety Specialist 11 P71 PT Fire/Arson Investigator I S24 PT Housing Rehabilitation Counselor II J55 PT Library Circulation Specialist R76 PT Line Crew Supervisor Rl 1 PT Park Planning Assistant B59 PT Public Education Program Specialist J77 PT Senior Fire Safety Specialist R22 PT Sr Fire/Arson Investigator I R08 PT Substation Electrician Supervisor 810 PT Supply Clerk/Driver R77 PT Systems Specialist I P29 PT Systems Specialist I1 A05 PT Water Engineering Representative S44 PT Water Production Technician Supervisor B26 Part Time Emergency Management Officer R51 EMS -RN 990 General Services Worker 803 Law Clerk R92 Public Education Program Assistant P08 Recreation Class Instructor P50 SCBA Maintenance/Repair Specialist 1301 Security Systems Technician 2. That effective the pay period beginning January 17, 2025, Appendix B, Non - Represented Non -Sworn Management, of the Personnel Rules and Policies Covering Non - Represented Full -Time and Part -Time Employees, is hereby amended by deleting the classification title and for the following classification: Title Code Classification Title 159 Personnel Services Manager 2 SECTION 2. That effective the pay period beginning January 17, 2025, Appendix B, Non - Represented Non -Sworn Management, of the Personnel Rules and Policies Covering Non - Represented Full -Time and Part -Time Employees, is hereby amended by modifying the rates of compensation for the following classification(s): Classification New Salary Range Executive Coordinator XCR10 SECTION 3. Except as amended herein, Resolution No. 2024-079, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 4_ The Human Resources Director shall be delegated with the authority to publish the salary schedule authorized herein, as well as in Resolution No. 2024-079, in any format meeting the requirements of California Code of Regulations section 570.5. SF.CTTON 5_ The effective date of said amendment to Resolution No. 2024-079, as amended, is January 17, 2025. SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
