RES-2025-004RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 0 0 4 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.2023-082, AS AMENDED, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING, DELETING AND/OR MODIFYING CERTAIN CLASSIFICATIONS, RATES OF COMPENSATION, AND PAY POLICIES FOR CLASSIFICATIONS REPRESENTED UNDER THE AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES, LOCAL 2002, PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT UNIT WHEREAS, Section 1.05.020.0103 of the Anaheim Municipal Code requires the Human Resources Director to maintain and administer the position classification and compensation plan; WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated January 14, 2025, that the need exists to create, delete and/or modify certain classifications, rates of compensation, and pay policies for classifications represented under the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, Local 2002, Professional/Technical Management Unit ("AFSCME Prof/Tech") effective the pay period beginning January 17, 2025; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2023-082 has established and modified classifications, rates of compensation, and pay policies for AFSCME Prof/Tech classifications; and WHEREAS, such additions, deletions and modifications require an amendment to Resolution No. 2023-082, as amended; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that creating, deleting and/or modifying such classifications and pay policies for classifications represented under the AFSCME Prof/Tech is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: SECTION 1. 1. That effective the pay period beginning January 17, 2025, Appendix `B," Wages, of the July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2027 AFSCME Prof/Tech Memorandum of Understanding, is hereby amended by deleting the classification titles for the following classifications: Title Code Classification Title M60 C/S/E Systems/Contracts Administrator 050 CMMS/Auto CAD Analyst R48 PT Emergency Medical Services Coordinator R43 PT Human Resources Development Specialist I R44 PT Human Resources Development Specialist II 197 Information Technology Project Manager IV M67 Legislative Analyst S21 PT Legislative Analyst N21 Library Integrated Systems Coordinator S32 PT Library Integrated Systems Coordinator N94 Neighborhood Preservation Coordinator 200 Permit and Records Manager P66 PT Power Resources Scheduler I J68 PT Power Resources Scheduler II R25 PT Principal Integrated Resources Planner ��230 Research Analyst SECTION 2. Except as amended herein, Resolution No. 2023-082, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3. The Human Resources Director shall be delegated with the authority to publish the salary schedule authorized herein, as well as in Resolution No. 2023-082, in any format meeting the requirements of California Code of Regulations section 570.5. SECTION 4. The effective date of said amendment to Resolution No. 2023-082, as amended, is January 17, 2025. SECTION 5.
