RES-2025-006RESOLUTION NO. 2025- 006 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.2022-136, AS AMENDED, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING, DELETING AND/OR MODIFYING CERTAIN CLASSIFICATIONS, RATES OF COMPENSATION, AND PAY POLICIES FOR CLASSIFICATIONS REPRESENTED UNDER THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, GENERAL EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, Section 1.05.020.0103 of the Anaheim Municipal Code requires the Human Resources Director to maintain and administer the position classification and compensation plan; WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report dated January 14, 2025, that the need exists to create, delete and/or modify certain classifications, rates of compensation, and pay policies for classifications represented under the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General Employees ("AMEA General") effective the pay period beginning January 17, 2025; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2022-136 has established and modified classifications, rates of compensation, and pay policies for AMEA General classifications; and WHEREAS, such additions, deletions and modifications require an amendment to Resolution No. 2022-136, as amended; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that creating, deleting and/or modifying such classifications and pay policies for classifications represented under the AMEA General is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: SECTION 1. 1. That effective the pay period beginning January 17, 2025, Appendix `B," Wages, of the June 24, 2022 through July 3, 2025 AMEA General Memorandum of Understanding, is hereby amended by deleting the classification titles for the following classifications: Title Code Classification Title 224 Animal Control Officer K01 Fire Safety Specialist I K02 Fire Safety Specialist II 037 Housinu Counselor I 038 Housing Counselor II 028 Housing Rehabilitation Counselor I 714 Housing Rehabilitation Counselor II 271 Identification Technician I 272 Identification Technician II 205 Information Technology Project Management Technician E98 Park Planning Assistant E68 Plan Checker I 417 Plan Checker II K07 Planning Graphics Technician 516 Relocation Specialist K03 Senior Fire Safety Specialist F24 Senior Housing Rehabilitation Counselor K08 Senior Planning Gra hics Technician F87 Voice Communications Network Technician I F84 Voice Communications Network Technician II SECTION 2. Except as amended herein, Resolution No. 2022-136, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect. �F.CTION I The Human Resources Director shall be delegated with the authority to publish the salary schedule authorized herein, as well as in Resolution No. 2022-136, in any format meeting the requirements of California Code of Regulations section 570.5. SECTION 4. The effective date of said amendment to Resolution No. 2022-136, as amended, is January 17, 2025. SECTION 5.
