A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A PETITION FOR
THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, DESIGNATING THE TERRITORY
AS THE CITY OF ANAHEIM OLIVE HILLS RESERVOIR
ANNEXATION DESCRIBING
THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TERRITORY PROPOSED TO BE
ANNEXED AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE DAY, HOUR AND
PLACE WHERE AND WHEN ANY PERSON OWNING REAL
PROPERTY WITHIN SUCH TERRITORY SO PROPOSED TO BE
ANNEXED MAY APPEAR BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL AND
SHOW CAUSE WHY SUCH TERRITORY SHOULD NOT BE
ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did on
the 29th day of January 1963 receive a written
petition asking that certain new territory described in said petition
be annexed to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, before the filing of said petition, the proposal
for the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City
of Anaheim was submitted to the Boundary Commission of the County of
Orange, State of California, and reported upon by said Boundary
Commission with respect to the definiteness and certainty of the
proposed boundaries; and
WHEREAS, said territory proposed to be annexed to said City
of Anaheim is situated in the County of Orange, State of California,
and is contiguous to the City of Anaheim and is uninhabited territory,
and said petition contained a description of said territory in words
and figures as hereinafter in this Resolution described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from evidence and reports
received that at the time of the filing and receipt of said petition,
it was and now is signed by owners of not less than one fourth
of the land in the territory by area and by assessed value in the
territory proposed to be annexed, according to the last preceding
equalized county assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from evidence and reports
received and from said petition that at the time of the filing and
presentation of said petition that said new territory proposed to be
annexed to said City of Anaheim did not form a part of any municipal
corporation and that said territory was uninhabited and is contiguous
to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from said petition and
evidence and reports received that the boundaries of the territory
so proposed to be annexed to the City of Anaheim are as follows,
to wit
CITY OF ANAHEIM OLIVE HILLS RESERVOIR ANNEXATION
A parcel of land located in the City of Orange, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, described as follows:
Commencing at a point in the common boundary line between the City of Anaheim and the
City of Orange as established by Anaheim Northeast Annexation No. 2 -A, passed by
Ordinance No. 1269 on August 12, 1958, and filed with the Secretary of State on
September 12, 1958, and recorded September 17, 1958 in Official Records of the
County Recorder, County of Orange, State of California, and Orange Annexation No. 92,
passed by Ordinance No. 711 on October 8, 1957 and filed with the Secretary of State
November 12, 1957, and recorded November 12, 1957 in Official Records of the County
Recorder, County of Orange, State of California, said common boundary line herein-
after described in part and established as follows:
"Commencing at the intersection of the heretofore mentioned common
boundary line with the Easterly line of that portion of land conveyed
to the State of California, described as Parcel 1 of deed recorded
December 23, 1960 in Book 5563, page 227 of Official Records in the office
of the County Recorder, County of Orange, State of California, said point
of intersection being North 33 01' 38" East 87.41 feet from the Southerly
terminus of that certain course described in the last mentioned deed
as having a bearing of North 33 01' 38" East and having a distance of
503.61 feet, said point of intersection being hereinafter referred to
as Point "A thence South 52 43' 23" East 578.82 feet; thence South
81 58' 54" East 1,335.06 feet; thence North 89 24' 10" East 2,640 feet,
more or less, to Point "B said Point "B" being the point of intersection
with the East line of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. M.,
as referred to in the heretofore mentioned City of Anaheim Northeast
Annexation No. 2 -A, and the City of Orange Annexation No. 92, said point
of intersection being South 0 36' 45" East 1,889.00 feet from an angle
point in the Southwesterly line of Lot 11 of Tract No. 58, Peralta Hills
Tract No. 1, recorded in Book 10, page 6 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California, said angle point being the Easterly
terminus of a portion of the Southwesterly line of said Lot 11, which

bears North 89 43' West and has a length of 374.32 feet."
The above described boundary line is hereinafter referred to as
the "Common Boundary Line of 1957 -58."
Commencing at the heretofore mentioned Point "A thence South 52° 43' 23" East along
the heretofore mentioned Common Boundary line of 1957 58, a distance of 578.82 feet
to an angle point therein; thence continuing along said Common Boundary Line of 1957 58,
South 81 58 54" East 1,060.67 feet to the point of intersection with a curve concave
Northeasterly having a radius of 372.00 feet, a radial line passing through said point
bearing South
79 15' 42" West, said point of intersection being the True Point of
Beginning; thence
1. Leaving the heretofore mentioned Common Boundary Line of 1957-58 and following
Southeasterly and Easterly along said curve through a central angle of 84° 07' 07"
an arc distance of 546.15 feet; thence
2. North 85 08' 35" East tangent to said curve 54.73 feet; thence
3. South 4 51' 25" East 42.00 feet, to the Northwest corner of that parcel of land con-
veyed to the City of Anaheim described in Parcel No. Eight of deed recorded in Book 6355,
pages 675 to 678, inclusive, Official Records of said Orange County; thence following
along the Westerly line of Parcel No. Eight, the following courses and distances:
South 12 21' 25" East 181.81 feet; thence South 28 11' 03" West 126.68 feet to the
intersection with the Northerly line of that portion of land conveyed to the State of
California, described as Parcel 2, recorded in Book 5563, page 227, Official Records
of the County Recorder, County of Orange, State of California; thence
4. Continuing along the Westerly, Southerly and Easterly line of the heretofore mentioned
Parcel No. Eight conveyed to the City of Anaheim, the following courses and distances:
South 89 19' 54" East 95.65 feet; thence South 68 51' 43" East 164.52 feet; thence
South 38 06' 18" East 586.20 feet; thence South 64 22' 56" East 250.00 feet; thence
South 74 35' 14" East 392.94 feet; thence North 72 24' 23" East 140.69 feet; thence
North 45 11' 23" East 181.13 feet; thence North 14 57' 30" East 208.22 feet; thence
North 21 51' 37" West 292.31 feet; thence North 35 25' 27" West 218.44 feet; thence
Leaving the Easterly line of said Parcel No. Eight and following along the Southeasterly
line of Parcel No. Six, as conveyed to the City of Anaheim in the heretofore mentioned
deed to the City of Anaheim, the following courses and distances:
North 74 43' 06" East 14.50 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that such proposed annexation be designated as
AHEIM OLIVE HILLS RESERVOIR ANNEXATION and that notice of
suc propose annexation .e ere .y given as ereinafter provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing shall be had
upon the date set, not less than forty (40) nor more than sixty
(60) days after the passage of this resolution, unless the owner or
owners of all of the territory to be annexed have petitioned for
annexation or filed their consents to such annexation, in writing,
with the City Council in which event the hearing shall be set at
any time after compliance with Section 35311 of the Government Code.
AND BE I FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does
find that the owner or owners of all of the territory proposed to
be annexed have petitioned for annexation or filed their con-
sents to such annexation, in writing, with. the City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 5th day of March
196 3 at the hour of 3:00 o clock P. M., at the City Council
ChaWeer in the City Ha of t e City or be, and the same is
hereby, fixed as the day, hour and place when and where the City
Council will hear protests made by any owner or owners of real pro-
perty within the territory proposed to be annexed; and that at any
time before the closing of said hearing on protests, any owner of
property within said territory may file with the City Clerk a
written protest against the annexation. Said protest shall be in
writing and shall state the name of the owner of the property
affected and the description and area of the property in general
terms.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is
hereby, authorized and directed to cause a copy of this resolution
to be published at least twice, but not oftener than once a week,
in a newspaper of general circulation, published in the City, to
wit: The Anaheim Bulletin of Anaheim, Orange County, California,

date of hearing hereinabove specified.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to
cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to
each person to whom land within the territory proposed to be
annexed is assessed, in the last equalized county assessment roll
available on the date the proceedings were initiated, at the
address shown on said assessment roll or as known to said City
Clerk, and to any person who has filed his name and address and
the designation of lands in which he has any interest, either legal
or equitable, with said Clerk; and in the event that land within
the territory proposed to be annexed to the City of Anaheim is
owned by a County, the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall
also cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed
to the Board of Supervisors of such County. The foregoing
notices shall be given not less than twenty (20) days before the
first public hearing on the proposed annexation.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
