63-0073sell and that it Anaheim RESOLUTION NO. 63R- 73 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR EASEMENTS FOR STREET AND PUBLIC UTILITY, AND ALLEY AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for street and public utility, and alley and public utility purposes; and WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to convey the same to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds is for the benefit and best interest of the City of to accept said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the offer of TED -MAR COMPANY, a partner- ship, and RANCHO LANE REALTY, INC., a corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for easements for street and public utility, and alley and public utility purposes, and more particularly des- cribed as follows: PARCEL 1: An easement for street and public utility and under that portion of Lot 21 of the J. Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded pages 58 and 59, Miscellaneous Records of County, California, and portions of lands more particularly described as follows: purposes over D. Taylor in Book 36, Los Angeles adjoining, Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Jefferson Street (formerly Cross Street) with the Westerly prolongation of the Northerly line of said Lot 21, and running thence North 73 30' 15" East, along said prolongation and along said Northerly line, 50 feet; thence South 17 00' 45 East 95.29 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the West and having a radius 1250 feet; thence Southerly along said curve, thru an angle of 15 15' 52" an arc distance of 333.02 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve, concave to the Northeast and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Southerly and Southeasterly along said curve, thru an angle of 70 20' 03" an arc distance of 18.41 feet to a line tangent; thence South 72 04' 56" East 344.42 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the North and having a radius of 170 feet; thence Southeasterly and North- easterly along said curve, thru an angle of 63 31' 43" an arc distance of 188.49 feet to a line tangent; thence North 44 23' 21" East 44.58 feet to the Easterly line of the land conveyed to Ted -Mar Company, a partnership, by deed recorded June 1, 1962 in Book 6129, page 956, Official Records; thence South 36 23' 45" East, along said Easterly line 2.02 feet to the Northerly line of Santa Ana Canyon Road as now established; thence South 44 23' 21" West, along said Northerly line, 44.26 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the North and having a radius of 172 feet; thence Southwesterly and Westerly along said curve, thru an angle of 63 31' 43" an arc distance of 190.71 feet to the beginning of a line tangent; thence North 72 04 56" West, along the Northerly line of Santa Ana Canyon Road as now established, 396.98 feet to the center line of Jefferson Street as now established; thence North 17 53' 15" East, along said center line, 56.72 feet to an angle point therein; thence North 17 00' 45" West, along said center line, 366.11 feet to the point of beginning. PARCEL 2: An easement for alley and public utility purposes over and under that portion of Lot 21 of the J. D. Taylor Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 36, pages 58 and 59, Miscellaneous Records, of Los Angeles County, California, and portions of lands adjoining, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the center line of Jefferson Street (formerly Cross Street) with the Westerly prolongation of the Northerly line of said Lot 21, and running thence North 73 30' 15" East, along said prolongation and along said Northerly line, 50 feet; thence South 17 00' 45 East 1.00 foot to the true point of beginning of the land herein described; thence North 73 30' 15" East 241.71 feet to the inter- section with a line which is parallel with, and distant 1.00 foot Southwesterly measured at right angles, from the Easterly line of the land conveyed to Rancho Lane Realty, Inc., a corporation, by deed recorded October 3, 1962, in Book 6270, page 766, Official Records; thence South 36 23' 45" East along said parallel line, 498.11 feet; thence South 73 22' 15" West 175.178 feet; thence South 45 38' 39.5" West 35.41 feet; South 17 55' 04" West 97.65 feet to the Northeasterly line of Parcel 1 hereinbefore described, said line being parallel with, and distant 2.00 feet Northeasterly from the Northerly line of Santa Ana Canyon Road as now established; thence North 72 04' 56" West along said parallel lines, 20.00 feet; thence North 17 55' 04" East 83.90 feet; thence North 44 21' 20" West 18.61 feet; thence South 73 22' 15" West 9.76 feet; thence North 16 37' 45" West 10.00 feet; thence North 17 00' 45" West 10.00 feet; thence North 73 22' 15" East 200.84 feet; thence North 18 29' 15" East 23.01 feet; thence North 36 23' 45" West 415.62 feet; thence North 71 26' 45" West 32.75 feet; thence South 73 30' 15" West 207.50 feet to a line bearing South 17 00' 45" East from the true point of beginning; thence North 17 00' 45" West 20.00 feet to the true point of beginning. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey- ance of said property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
