A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DEDICATING CERTAIN CITY-OWNED
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR PUBLIC
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore acquired
certain real property within the corporate limits of the City
of Anaheim for public purposes; and
WHEREAS, said property, commonly known as Rampart
Street and a portion of Orangewood Avenue, and is located east
of State College Boulevard in the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is indicated and anticipated that .the
City of Anaheim will dedicate a certain portion of City-owned
property for public purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in
the best interests of the City of Anaheim to dedicate a portion
of its City-owned property for public purposes.
PdOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it dedicate, and it does. hereby
dedicate, as an easement for public street and highway purposes,
the following described land situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, .State of California, more particularly
described as follows:
Parcel 1.
All that portion of the land allotted to Alfred B.
Chapman as described in the Final Decree of
Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, which
was entered September 12, 1868 in Book "B", Page 410
of Judgements of the District Court of the 17th
Judicial District in and for Los Angeles County,
California lying within a strip of land 90.00 feet
wide, the centerline of which is described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of State
College Boulevard with Orangewood Avenue as said
centerlines are shown on a map filed in Book 72, Page
18 of Record of Survey maps, records of said County;
thence East, .along said centerline of Orangewood
Avenue, 1818.84 feet to a curve concave Southerly and
having a radius of 1200.00 feet; thence Easterly along
said curve through a central angle of lq° 13' 24" an
arc distance of 402.61 feet to a reverse curve concave

Northerly having a radius of 1200.00 feet; thence
Easterly along said curve through a central angle of
19° 17' 16" an arc distance of 403.96 feet to the
tangent intersection with the Westerly prolongation
of the Southerly line of the land described in a deed
recorded in Book 869, Page .324, Official Records of
said County; thence North 89° 56' 08" East along
said prolongation 65.48 feet. more or less to the
boundary line of the City of Anaheim as described
in City Ordinance i~To. 1119 dated T~Iarch 2g, 1957.
Parcel 2.
All that portion of the land allotted to Alfred B.
Chapman as described in the Final Decree of Partition
of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, which was enter-
ed September 12, 1868 in Book "B", Page 410 of
Judgements of the District Court of the 17th Judicial
District in and for Los Angeles County, California
lying within a strip of land 60..00 feet wide, the
centerline of which is described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Orangewood
Avenue with Rampart Street as said centerlines are
shown on a Record of Survey map filed in Book g8,
Page 46, Records of said County; thence South. 0° 37'
50" East, 100..19 feet to the beginning of a curve
concave Northeasterly having a radius of 500.00 feet;
thence Southerly along said curve through a central
angle of 41° 04' 25" an arc distance of 358.43 feet to
a reverse curve concave Southwesterly having a radius
of 500.00 feet; thence Southerly along last said curve
through a central angle of 59° 41' 41" an arc distance
of 520.68 feet; thence tangent South 17° 59' 26" West,
160.35 feet to the Northerly line of Lot 9 of the
Lockhart Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 4,
Pages 512 and 513 of I~~iscellaneous Records of said
Los Angeles County.
Excepting ..therefrom any portion lying within said
Orangewood Avenue 90.00 feet wide.
Together with a spandrel shaped area bounded on the
East by the Westerly line of a 60.00 foot wide;
bounded Southwesterly by a curve concave Southwesterly
having a radius of 25.00 feet with tangent points of
cusp.
To ether with a spandrel shaped area bounded on the
est by the Easterly line of said 60..00 foot wide
strip; bounded Northeasterly by the Southwesterly line
of said Orangewood Avenue g0.00..feet wide; bounded
Southeasterly by a curve concave Southeasterly having
a radius of 25.00 feet with tangent points of cusp.

Subject to covenants, conditions, reservations,
restrictions, rights, rights-of-way and easements, if
any, of record.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to record a certified
copy of this resolution in the Office of the County Recorder
of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTLON is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 21st day of
March , 19 7 8 .
