A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUi~CIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM .APPROVING THE SALE OF CERTAIN CITY-
OWNED REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZIPdG Ai~tD .DIRECTING
THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT DEED THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of certain
real property generally located north of Katella Avenue and
east of Walnut Street within the City of Anaheim as herein-
after more particularly described; and
WHEREAS, said real property is no longer needed
for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, Wrather Hotels, Inc. has offered to purchase
said real property for the sum of $3,800.00 for use in conjunc-
tion with certain adjacent property owned by said purchaser;
and
WHEREAS, said purchase price represents the fair market
value of said real property as determined by a current real
estate appraisal; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the
public interest and benefit to accept said offer and sell and
convey said real property to Wrather Hotels, Inc., subject to
all matters and encumbrances of record.
i1OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of Wrather Hotels, Inc., to
purchase the following described property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California:
Parcel One: Lots 1 and 2 in Block 15 of the Fairview
Colony Tract, as shown on a map of a subdivision of
the South half of Section 21, Township 14 South, Range
10 ~rlest, S.B.B. & A'I., recorded in Book 1, page 33,
P~Iiscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
Except therefrom the easterly 500 feet thereof.
Also excepting, therefromr. Lots 1 and 2 of the following:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center-
line of the 60.00-foot street as shown on said map,
now known as ti~lest Street, adj oining Blocks 1~4 and 15 of
said Fairview Colony Tract on the east with the east-
erly extension of the line common to said Blocks 14
and 15; thence S 89° 45' 28" W along said extended
line and along the line common to said Blocks 14 and
15, 620.29 feet to the true point of beginning of this

description, said point being hereby designated as
Point "A"; thence from said point of beginning S 0°
05' 20" E, 46.50 feet; thence S 89° 45' 26" W,
104.54 feet; thence N 0° 05' 20" W, 46.50 feet to
the line common to said Blocks 14 and 15; thence N
8g° 45' 28" E along said line 104.54 feet to the
true point of beginning.
Also excepting that portion of said land included
within the lines of Tract No. 2854, as per map
recorded in Book g0, pages 39 and 40, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County.
Reserving unto the Grantor an easement for road and
public utility purposes over, under and across the
westerly 60 feet (measured to the centerline of
Walnut Street).
Parcel Two: An undivided 4/7ths interest in and to
the following described parcel of land, being a
portion of Blocks 14 and 15 of the Fairview Colony
Tract, as shown on a map of a subdivision of the
South half of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, S.B.B. & M., recorded in Book 1, page 33,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the point hereinabove designated as
Point "A"; thence N 0° 05' 20" W, 26.50 feet; thence
S 89° 45' 28" W, 104.54 feet; thence S 0° 05' 20" E,
73.00 feet; thence N 89° 45' 28" E, 104.54 feet;
thence Id 0° 05' 20" W, 46.50 feet, more or less, to
the true point of beginning.
for the sum of X3,800.00 cash, lawful money of the United
States.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, upon tender of the
aforesaid purchase price, the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized to execute a good and sufficient
deed conveying to Wrather Hotels, Inc., the real property
hereinabove described, subject to all matters and encumbrances
of record, and to deliver said deed to said Wrather Motels, Inc.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed
to certify a copy of this resolution and cause the same to be
attached to said deed to be executed by the Mayor and City
Clerk on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
