~JNEREAS, it is the intention and desire of the State of
California to obtain the ter.porary full ti~~e service of a certain
employee of the City of Anaheim to work with the California Conser-
vation Corps; and
V7~IERI~;AS, the City of Anahein2 desires to assign, transfer
and detail said City employee to the State fora lirnited period of
tire~e ; and
WI-~EREAS, such temporary assignment will increase sai~.
employee's knowledge and skills which will be beneficial to the
City when he returns to City service; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terr.~s and
conditions of which are satisfactory to the City o:~ Anaheim.
i~OW, TE-IEREFORE, BE IT R:SSOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agreement
between the City of Anaheim and the State of California for the
temporary assignment of a City employee for service with the State
be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVL^'D that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
