A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ELECTING TO EXERCISE THE OPTION FOR
THE PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY FROM FLORENCE H.
SPENCER.
WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, on the 30th day of January,
1959, Florence H. Spencer did execute and deliver to the City of
Anaheim a real estate option giving and granting to the City an
option at any time between January 1st and 31st, 1960 to purchase
the following described property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
The Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South,
Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as said
section is shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 11
of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said county.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Southerly 190.74 feet thereof.
PARCEL 2:
An undivided 7/120ths interest in the following de-
scribed property:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Southeast
quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter
of Section 13, Township L. South, Range 11 West in the
Rancho Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, as said section is shown on a reap
recorded in Book 51, Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, in
the office of the County Recorder of said county; thence
Southerly 3)18.00 feet to the point designated herein as
the point of beginning; thence at right angles Westerly
192 feet; thence at right angles Southerly )40.00
feet; thence at right angles Easterly 20.00 feet; thence
at right angles Northerly 30.00 feet; thence at right
angles Easterly 172.00 feet, more or less, to the east
boundary line of the said Northeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of said Section 13; thence at right
angles Northerly 10.00 feet to the point of beginning.
for the sum of $67,966.77 cash, lawful money of the United States,
subject to the second installment of State and County Taxes for
the fiscal year 1959 -60;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that they do hereby elect to exercise said
real estate option and purchase the real property and premises
therein described for the sum of $67,966.77, upon the terms and
conditions as set forth in said option.
BE IT FURTI IER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to deposit in escrow
at the Orange County Title Company, 421 North Main Street, Santa
Ana, California, on or before the 31st day of January, 1960, the
sum of $67,966.77 cash, lawful money of the United States to be

paid to Florence H. Spencer for the purchase of the property
hereinabove described, upon the terms and conditions set forth
in said option.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and
he is hereby, authorized and directed to sign escrow instructions
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim for the purchase of said
real property and premises, upon the terms and conditions herein
set forth and as set forth in said real estate option.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 19th day of January, 1960.
