A RESOLUTION OF Tlili CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY O.? ANAHEI};!, AUTHOHIZING THE SALE OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY; AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A CONVEYANCE THEREOF; AND
RESCINDING RESOLUTIO~S NO. J319, NO.
J4J4 AND NO. 3522.
iiHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of the
hereinafter described real property; and
WHEREAS, saie real property is no longer needed
for municipal purposes; and

band and wife, have offereo, to purchase sai6, real property
for the sum of $8,278.05 cash, lawful money of the United
States, to be deuosited in escrow at Bank of America Nation-
al Trust and Savings Association, Fullerton Branch, Fullerton,
California, and paio_ to the City at the close of escrow; and
liHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is for the
benefit End best interest of the City of Anaheim to accept
saieL offel' and sell and convey said real property to said
Emil ia ttman Iwd Hattie M. Ni ttman, husband and Hife, upon
the terms and conditlons hereinafter' specified,
NOW, THE~EFOnE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of Emil Mittman and
Ha ttie H. Ni ttman, husband and ,-:ife, to purchase the following
described, real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California:
The Westerly 130 feet of the Northerly 184.92
feet of the Southerly 375.92 feet of that parcel
of land located in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, anci being a por-
tion of the Southeast quarter of Section J, Town-
ship 4 South, Hange 10 l,iest, S. B. B. & M.,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast cornel' of the Schaffer
Oswald Subdivlsion as shown on a map thereof in
Book 7, page 41 of IHscellaneous Maps of said
Orange County, California; thence Westerly along
the North line of said. Subdivision 785.10 feet,
more or less, to a point, said point being 30 feet
East of the monwnented center line of North Olive
Street; thence Northerly 667.15 feet, more or less,
to the South line of the land conveyed to Cal-Juices,
Inc. by Deed recorded January 26, 1938 and filed in
Book 922, page 262 of Official Records of said Orange
County; thence Easterly 742.05 feet, more or less,
to the Westerly line of the right of way of the main
line of the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Company
(no'\'l known as the Atchison, Toueka and. Santa Fe Rail-
road) in the Southeast quarter" of saiCL Section 3;
thence Southerly 251.91 feet, more or less, along said
right of wa;y line ",hich forms a curve, concave East-
erly .;i th n radius of 5764.65 feet to its intersection

quarter of said Section 3; thence Southerly along said
East line 419.10 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning.

Records, and in the correction deed recorded

for the sum of $8,278.05 cash, lawful money of the United
States, be accepted upon the following terms and conditions:
1. Tha.t $8,278.05 cash, lawful money of the
United States, be placed in escrow with
Bank of America. National Trust and Savings
Association, Fullerton Branch, Fullerton,
California, to be paid to the City at the
close of escrow, said escrow to be complied
wi th on or befox'e the loth day of January,
1957, or as soon thereafter as Dossible,

the money or instruments by a party to said

subsequent to such date and prior to the
recording of any instruments provided for

2. Th~t said property shall be sold subject to
covenants, conditions, restrictions, reser-
vations, rights, rights-of-way and easements
of record.
BE IT FURTBl.:R RESOLVJ<:D t.ha t the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute a good
and sufficient deed conveying to said Emil Mittman and Hattie
M. Mittman, husband and ,;rife, the real proper.ty hereinabove
described, and to deliver said deed into escrow at Bank of
America National Trust and Savings Association, Fullerton
Branch, Fullerton, California, to be delivered to said Emil
Mittman and Hattie M. Mittman, husband and wife, upon comple-
tion of sa.id escrow and the pa,yment of the full purche.se price
as hereinabove provided.
AND BE IT FURTHEH RESOLVED that the City Clerk of
the City of Anaheim be, and she is hereby, authorized and
directed to certify a copy of thls resolution and cause the
same to be attached to the deed to be executed by the Mayor
and the City Clerk on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
RESOLUTIClJS NO. 3319, NO. 3434 AND NO. 3522 are
hereby rescinded.
THE FOREGODG RESOLUTIUN IS SIGNED and approved by
