A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 6000 IN
RECLASSIFICATION PROCEEDINGS NO. F- 59- 60 -92.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit,
on May 10, 1960, adopt Resolution No. 6000 in Reclassification
Proceedings No. F- 59- 60 -92, finding and determining that the
property and area described therein should be changed from
P -L, PARKING LANDSCAPING ZONE and C -2, GENERAL- CONNERCIAL ZONE,
to C -3, HEAVY- WMNERCIAL ZONE, subject to certain conditions
set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, Condition No. 5 of Resolution No. 6000 reads
as follows:
r'7. That the owner of subject property place of record
standard City of Anaheim C -3 Deed Restrictions,
approved by the City Attorney, which restrictions
shall limit the uses of the property to new and
used car sales and services, including all services
incidental thereto, and to any C -2 uses."
AND WHEREAS, the applicant for said change of zones
has requested that Condition No. 5 above mentioned be amended
as more particularly hereinafter set forth, and the City Council
does find that said request should be granted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that an
ordinance has never been adopted directing said change of zone
and completing said proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 6000 in Reclassifica-
tion Proceedings No. F- 59 -60 -92 be, and the same is hereby
amended by amending Condition No. 5 thereof to read as follows:
r' 5. That Chrysler Corporation, upon the purchase of
the subject property, shall place of record deed
restrictions approved by the City Attorney which
shall limit the uses of the property to new and
used car sales and service, including all services
incidental thereto and to any C -2 uses, and pro-
viding architectural control as follows:
(a) That the hereinafter described property
shall be developed in substantial compliance
with the plans submitted to the City Council
on Nay 10, 1960, by Chrysler Corporation, and
on file with the City of Anaheim.
(b) That in the event said property is not
developed in accordance with said plans by
Chrysler Corporation, or is developed and
subsequently sold and further developed by
a subsequent purchaser, all plans and

specifications for buildings or additions
thereto to be erected on the property shall
be subject to the approval of an Architectural
Committee consisting of tbe following:
(i) One representative of the owner, or
heirs or assigns;
(ii) One representative of the City
appointed by the City Council;
(iii) A neutral party to be selected by
the owner and the City of Anaheim.
This committee shall review the plans and
specifications for structural requirement,
architectural design, buildinu location,
parLing facilities and other matters included
in these deed restrictions. One set of plans
shall be signed by a majority of the Archi-
tectural Committee and filed with the Building
Inspector of the City of Anaheim."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects
said Resolution No. 6000 be and remain in full force and effect.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit
to the City Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal
Code to accomplish the object herein found and determined to be
necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING. RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 14th day of June, 1960.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Resolution No. 6088 on the 14th day of June, 1960.
