A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DENYING VARIANCE NO. 1214.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did receive a petition for zoning variance from William and
en•wefa Hurle owners of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows°
Lot 221 of Tract No. 2377, as per map recorded
in Book 75, Pages 29 to 35 inclusive, of Miscellaneous
Maps in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange
County.
(Said property is located at 1703 Crone Avenue.)
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public
hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on May 16
19 60 notices of which said public hearing were duly given as re-
quired by law and the provisions of Section 9200,17 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due inspection,
investigation and studies made by itself nd in its behalf, and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt Resolution Noe Series 19.9 -60 denying
Variance No. 12 and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of
the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the
City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City
Planning Commission denying said variance, and said appeal was
set for public hearing on June 7. 19 60 at 700
o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of
such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provi-
sions of Section 9200,17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself
and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find and de-
termine that
1, There is no substantial property right possessed by
other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied
the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately
developed and used under the present zone,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission
denying the application of William and Genowefa Hurley, 1703 Crone
Avenue, Anaheim, California, for a variance permitting the establish-
ment and operation of a Radio and T.V. Repair Shop on the property
hereinabove described, be and the same is hereby sustained, and
that Variance No. 12WI be and the same is hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
7th day of June 19 60
