1960-6013A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE
OF ZONE IS NECESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS OF THE
CITY, AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE AMENDED TO
ACCOMPLISH SAID CHANGE OF ZONE.
WHEREAS, the City Plannic *,g Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofor. duly passed and adopted a resolution declar-
ing its intentio- to change the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described and did fix a time and place
for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as
prescribed in Article. IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code,
and did duly hold and conduct such public hearing to consider said
proposed change of zone or z neG, and did r -calve evidence and
reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by
formal resolutio:: its findings of facts and declare its opinions
and reasons for recommendicg an ame::•:,ent to said Article IX,.
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Cod to affect the proposed
changes in the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commissi,s-n the City Council did thereupon fix
the 10th day of Ma 9 19 60 9 as the time and the
Counc hGamber in the ity a 1 of thTty of Anaheim as the place
for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone, and did give
notice thereof in the man�ter and as provided in said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, t the tim,: and plan fixed for said public hear-
ing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidenc and reports, and did thereupon con-
sider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council doe find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it
is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth, is
more suitable for the zone or zones to which it is proposed to
change said property and area and that the inclusion of said prop
erty and area in such new zone or zones will increase the value of
said property and area and will not depreciate the values of prop-
erty in adjoining zones.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows: to wit:

The northerly 65 feet of the following described
property:
The Southerly 132 feet of the North 264
feet of the Easterly 165 feet of the Westerly 660 feet
of that portion of Lot 2 in Block K of the Kraemer
Tract, in the County of Orange, State of California,
as per map thereof recorded in Rook 12, at Pages
87 and 88, of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Easterly line of
said lot, 28 chains Southerly from the Northeast-
erly corner of said lot; thence Southerly along
said Easterly line 12.03 chains to the Southeast-
erly corner of said lot; thence Westerly along the
Southerly line of said lot, 20 chains to the South-
westerly corner of said lot; thence Northerly along
the Westerly line of said lot, 12.03 chains to the
Southwesterly corner of the tract of land described
in the deed from Mattie Goetz and husband to Ernrna
Shaffer recorded December 6, 1917 in Book 316, at
page 202, of Deeds, records of said Orange County;
thence Easterly alone the Southerly line of said
tract 20 chains to the point of beginning;
be changed from R-A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE to M -1,
LIGHT MANUFACTURING ZONE, upon the following conditions:
1. That subject property be developed in accordance
with the plans presented to the City Council and
on file with the City of Anaheim.
2. That the owners of subject property deed to the
City of Anaheim a strip of land 45 feet in width
from the center line of the street, along Miller
Street, for street widening purposes.
3. That curbs, gutters and sidewalks be installed as
required by the City Engineer and in accordance
with standard plans and specifications on f i l e
in t.be C ice of the City Engineer; and that
the owners of subject property pay to the City
of Anaheim im the sum of $2.00 per front foot for
street lighting purposes.
That the owners of subject property enter into
an agreement with the City of Anaheim, guarantee-
ing the installation of the above mentioned street
improvement a the payment of $2.00 per front foot
for street lighting purposes, when required by the
City Engineer.
5. That the 50 -foot P -L, Parking- Landscaping Zone
requirement be waived.
6. That adequate parking spaces be provided.

8. That Conditions Nos. 2, L. and 7 above mentioned
be complied with within a period of 90 days
from date hereof, or such further time as the
City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit
to the City Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of
the Anahein Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim Municipal
Cod; to accomplish the object herein found and determined
to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
