A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DENYING VARIANCE NO. 1224.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did receive a petition for zoning variance from Wilbur J. Cook and
John J. Busch •urchasers under of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follow
The South half of Lot 127, Tract 1697, as recorded
in Book 59, Pages 43, Yi and 45 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public
hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on April h.
19 60 notices of which said pubic hearing were duly given as re-
quired by law and the provisions of Section 9200,17 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission,, after due inspection,
investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after
due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt Resolution Noe 211 Series 19 59 -60 granting Variance
N 122 u r and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of
the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the
City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City
Planning Commission ,ranting said variance, and said appeal was
set for public hearing on May 3 19 60 at 7:00
otclock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of
such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provi-
sions of Section 9200,17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself
and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and
reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find and de-
termine that:
1. There is no substantial property right possessed by
other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied
the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately
developed and used under the present zone,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission
granting Variance No. 1224, permitting a waiver of the minimum lot
width and lot size requirements and the division of the property
hereinabove described into two equal parcels for the erection of
two single family residences, be, and the same is hereby disapproved,
and that Variance No. 1224 be, and the same is hereby denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this
