A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE CIR-
CULATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN RELATING
TO ARTERIAL STREETS AND HIGHWAYS BY MAKING
CERTAIN CHANGES IN THE REVISED MASTER PLAN
OF MAJOR STREETS AND HIGHWAYS AS ADOPTED
OCTOBER 15, 1956.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold and
conduct a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of
Anaheim on September 19, 1960, to consider the approval of
proposed amendments to the Circulation Element of the General
Plan Relating to Arterial Streets and Highways and Highway
Rights -of -Way; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in-
vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered
at said hearing did find and determine that the proposed amend-
ments to the Circulation Element of the General Plan of Arter-
ial Highways and Highway Rights -of -Way should be approved and
did thereupon adopt its Resolution No. 82 Series 1960 -61,
recommending to the City Council that the Circulation Element
of the General Plan of Arterial Highways and Highway Rights-
of-Way be amended to conform to the State Highway Department
amended standards pertaining to portions of Beach Boulevard
and Los Angeles Street as follows:
1. BEACH BOULEVARD South City limits to
Lincoln Avenue
(East side only) 92.00 feet
(West side only) 40.00 feet
2. LOS ANGELES STREET Extension from a
point 700 feet
more or less, south
of Cerritos, south
along the Santa Ana
Freeway to the South-
ern Pacific Railroad
Right of Way.

50.00 feet

Railroad to south
City limits.
(Northeast side only)
58.00 feet
AND WHEREAS, the City Council did thereupon fix the 18th
day of October, 1960, at the hour of 7 :00 P.M., at the City Council
Chambers in the City of Anaheim as the time and place to hold and
conduct a public hearing to consider said proposed amendments,
notice of which was given as required by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed, the City Council
did hold and conduct a public hearing and did consider the pro-
posed amendments to the Circulation Element of the General Plan

Relating to Arterial Streets and Highways and Highway Rights
of -Way and did review and consider the recommendations of the
Planning Commission and does find that the Circulation Element
of the General Plan Relating to Arterial Streets and Highways
and Highway Rights -of -Way should be amended as the same pertains
to portions of Beach Boulevard and Los Angeles Street, as more
particularly hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the proposed amendments to the Circu-
lation Element of the General Plan of Arterial Highways and
Highway Rights -of -Way pertaining to portions of Beach Boulevard
and Los Angeles Street, as follows:
1. BEACH BOULEVARD South City limits to

Planning Commission.
