A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR jOAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the 'benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of CHRYSLER CORPORATION, a corporation
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for p eafement for road and public utility purposes 9
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
ander and across the Westerly 53.00 feet (as measured
from the center line of Los Angeles Street) and the
Northerly 23.00 feet of the Southerly 53.00 feet
(as measured from the center line of Ball Rd.) of that
portion of Lot 25 of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a map
of Survey by William Hamel, and filed in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Los Angeles
Street, North 15 32' 15" West 160.35 feet from its
intersection with the centerline of Ball Road, said
centerlines being construed to be the lot lines for
the purpgse of this description; thence continuing
North 15 32' 15" West 257.50 feet; thence North
74° 27' 45" East 300.00 feet; thence parallel with
said Los Angeles Street South 15 32' 15" East to the said
centerline of Ball Road; thence Westerly along said
centerline of Ball Road to the Southeasterly pro-
longation of the Northeasterly line of the land described
in deed to Bertham L. Pollak, et.ux. recorded June 29, 1956,
in Book 3562 page 216 of official records; thence North
15° 32' 15" West 237.40 feet along the said North-
easterly line and its prolongation to the most
Northerly corner of the land described in the Deed to
the Bank of America, National Trust and Savings Association,
recorded December 3, 1959, in Book 4997 page 576 of official
ggfigffi S 74 27' 45" West, 278.86 feet to the point of
be, and t e same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar (41.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of October 19 60
