A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUN CIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT AN.
AMENDMENT TO TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE AND THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY MADE A
PART THEREOF SHOULD BE ADOPTED, CHANGING THE
BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN OF THE ZONES THEREBY
ESTABLISHED SO AS TO EXCLUDE THE PROPERTY
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED FROM THE R -A ZONE AND
TO INCORPORATE IT IN THE P -L ZONE AND THE
M -1 ZONE AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
heretofore, to wit, on the 30th day of August, 1960, adopt
Resolution No. 6250, in Reclassification No. F 60 61 29, initi-
ating and proposing the adoption of an amendment to Title 18,
formerly Article IX, Chapter 2, of the Anaheim Municipal Code
and the zoning map of the City made a part thereof so as to
exclude the property described in Exhibit A attached hereto
and made a part hereof, from the R -A, RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL
ZONE, and to incorporate said property in the P -L, PARKING
LANDSCAPING ZONE, and in the M -1, LIGHT MANUFACTURING ZONE,
in the manner set forth in said resolution and upon certain
conditions also set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, said proposed amendment and change of zones
was referred to the City Planning Commission for a report of
findings, summary of hearing and recommendation and said Plan-
ning Commission was directed to hold at least one public hear-
ing in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim in the manner pre-
scribed by law to consider said proposed amendment and zone
change; and
WHEREAS, as directed by said Resolution No. 6250,
the City Planning Commission did upon September 19, 1960, hold
a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim to
consider said proposed amendment and zone change,notice of
which was given as required by law; and
WHEREAS, on said date the City Planning Commission
did adopt its Resolution No. 72 SERIES 1960 -61, as amended,
containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing and a recommendation that the said
proposed amendment be adopted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of a copy of said Resolution
No. 72 SERIES 1960 -61, so adopted by the Planning Commission,
the City Council did thereupon fix the 4th day of October, 1960,
as the time and the City Council Chambers in the City Hall in
the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing to con-
sider said proposed amendment and the exclusion of the property
hereinabove mentioned from the zone in which it is now situ-
ated and the incorporation thereof in the zones as proposed
in Resolution No. 6250, adopted by the City Council on the 30th
day of August, 1960, and as recommended by the City Planning
Commission by its Resolution No. 72 SERIES 1960 -61; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did con-
sider the summary of evidence presented to the City Planning

Commission at its public hearing held on September 19, 1960,
as set forth in Resolution No. 72 SERIES 1960 -61, and did
consider the report of findings and recommendation of the
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municpal Code
and the zoning map of the City of Anaheim made a part thereof,
initiated and proposed by Resolution No. 6250, adopted on
August 30, 1960, should be adopted and that the property here
inabove described should be excluded from the zone in which
it is now situated and incorporated in the zones as set forth
in said resolution and as recommended by the Planning Commission,
and as hereinafter more particularly set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code and the zoning map of the City made a part thereof, be
and the same is, hereby amended and that the property described
in Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof, be ex-
cluded from the R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and in-
corporated in the P -L, PARKING LANDSCAPING ZONE, and the M -1,
LIGHT MANUFACTURING ZONE, as follows:
A strip of land 50 feet in width along Anaheim Road
and a strip of land 50 feet in width lying east of
and contiguous to the portion of Parcel 3 to be deed-
ed to the City of Anaheim in accordance with para-
graph 2 hereof, and a strip of land 50 feet in width
lying west of and contiguous to the portions of Par-
cels 1, 4 and 7 to be deeded to the City in accord-
ance with paragraph 2 hereof, shall be incorporated
in the P -L, PARKING LANDSCAPING ZONE; and
The balance of the said property shall be incorporated
in the M -1, LIGHT MANUFACTURING ZONE,
upon the following conditions:
1. The owners of said property deed to the City of
Anaheim, for street widening purposes, a strip
of land 45 feet in width, extending southerly
from and along the center line of Anaheim Road.
2. The owners of said property deed to the City of
Anaheim for public street purposes, the westerly
45 feet of Parcel 3 and the easterly 45 feet of
Parcels 1, 4 and 7, said parcels being more fully
described in Exhibit A attached hereto.
3. All engineering requirements of the City of Ana-
heim along Anaheim Road, relating to curbs, gutters
and rough grading, be complied with as required by
the City Engineer and in accordance with standard
plans and specifications on file in the Office of
the City Engineer, and that said engineering re-
quirements or improvements be installed at the
time the property is developed.
4. All engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim
applicable to the property to be deeded to the City
of Anaheim in accordance with paragraph 2 hereof,
and relating to curbs, gutters and rough grading, be

complied with as required by the City Engineer and
in accordance with standard plans and specifications
on file in the Office of the City Engineer, and that
said engineering requirements or improvements be in-
stalled at the time Miller Street is extended through
to La Palma Avenue, or at the option of the owners
at any time prior thereto.
5. The owners of said property either:
(a) Pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per
front foot on Anaheim Road and on the property
to be deeded to the City of Anaheim in accord-
ance with paragraph 2 hereof, for street light-
ing purposes, or
(b) Install street lights in accordance with plans
and specifications approved by the Office of
the City Engineer.
(c) Said payments shall be made or lights installed
concurrently with the installation of the re-
lated improvements under paragraphs 3 or 4
hereof respectively.
6. The owners of said property place of record M -1 deed
restrictions approved by the City Attorney.
7. Conditions Nos. 1, 2 and 6 hereof shall be complied
with within 90 days from date hereof or such further
time as the City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is, hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit
to the City Council an amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to amend said Anaheim. Municipal Code to accom-
plish the object herein found and determined to be necessary
and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by

north 10 acres of said west half.

PARCEL 2: The westerly 5 acres of the northerly 10 acres of the westerly

RESOLUTION NO. 6376.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution recommending denial
of a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned
and described, after having fixed a time and place for the holding of a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted such
public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and
after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein;
and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the hearing
thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal resolution
its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons for recommending
denial of said proposed change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the llth
day of October, 1960, as the time and the Council Chamber in the City Hall
of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed
change of zone or zones and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard
and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the
recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the property
and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones in which it is now
situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth, is more suitable
for the zone or zones in which it is now incorporated and that a change
of zone should not be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Parcel 1: That portion of Lot 29 of Anaheim Extension,
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as per map by William Hamel filed for record in the office
of the County recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
a copy thereof being on file in the office of the county
recorder of Orange County, California, in book 3, page 163,
et seq., of Los Angeles County Maps, and that portion of
Citron Street vacated May 17, 1913 by Order of the Board
of Supervisors of Orange County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Vermont
Avenue, (formerly Broad Street), and Citron Street, as
shown on said map; thence South 15 38' 10" East, along
the center line of said Citron Street, 243.00 feet; thence

remain in R -3, MULTIPLE.FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, in which it is now incorporated,
and that the reclassification to M-1, LIGHT MANUFACTURING ZONE be denied, as
recommended by the City Planning Commission.
