A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolu-
tion recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of
the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after
having fixed a time and place for the holding of a public
hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held
and conducted such public hearing to consider said proposed
change of zone or zones, and after having received evidence
and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days fol-
lowing the hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly
announce by formal resolution its findings of facts and de-
clare its opinions and reasons for recommending denial of
said proposed change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommenda-
tion of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did
thereupon fix the llth day of October, 1960, as the time and
the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim
as the place for a public hearing upon said proposed change
of zone or zones and did give notice thereof in the manner
and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and
did thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Plan-
ning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that the property and area proposed to be changed from the
zone or zones in which it is now situated to a different zone,
as hereinafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone or
zones in which it is now incorporated and that a change of
zone should not be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
PARCEL 1.
The East 13 acres of the following described property:
Beginning at a point on the South line of the SE 1/4
of the SW 1/4 of Section 20 -4 -10, 1187.2 feet West of
the SE corner of said SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4; running
thence West, along the South line of said SE 1/4 of the
SW 1/4, 835 feet to the Southwest corner of said SE 1/4
of the SW 1/4, said point being 1329.3 feet East of the

SW corner of said Section 20; thence North along the
West line of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of said Section.
1214 feet to the South line of the tract of land con-
veyed to the Southern Pacific Railroad Company by
Deed recorded in 45/14.9 Deeds of Orange County; thence
East along said South right of way line, 835 feet;
thence South 1214.75 feet to the point of beginning
and containing 23.27 acres. Reserving therefrom 30
feet along the South line for road purposes.
PARCEL 2.
That portion of the South 100 feet of the North 130
feet of the Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter
of Section 20, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, lying
East of the Northerly product of the West line of the
land described in the deed from S. G. Lehmer and wife
to Bank of Italy National Trust and Savings Association,
recorded October 10, 1928, in book 203, page 399, of
Official Records, in the Office of the County Recorder
of said Orange County, and West of the Northerly product
of the East line of the land described in the deed from
S. G. Lehmer and wife to Bank of Italy National Trust
and Savings Association, recorded July 22, 1927, in book
62, page 4?3, Official Records, in the Office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County, containing 1.07
acres, more or less;
remain in R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE, in which it is
now incorporated, and that the reclassification to R -3, MUL-
TIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, be denied, as recommended by
the City Planning Commission.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 11th day of October, 1960.
