A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED; AND RESCINDING RESOLU-
TION NO. 6183.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ing No. F- 60 -61 -2 to consider an amendment to Title
18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning and to con-
sider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described, and at said hearing did receive evidence
and reports from persons interested therein and from its staff;
and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolu-
tion containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evi-
dence presented at said hearing and a recommendation that the
proposed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that cer-
tain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did affix the 2nd day of
Auoust 19 60 as the time, and the City Council Chambers
in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, hereinafter
described, from the zone in which it is now situated and the in-
corporation thereof in the zones hereinafter set forth; and did
give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided in said
Title 18 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon con-
sider the summary of evidence presented at said public hearing
before the Planning Commission, its report of findings, and recom-
mendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated,
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended, and that the following
described property:

PARCEL A.
That portion of the Southeast quarter of Section 5, in
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in book
51, page 10, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of
La Palma and Euclid (formerly Nicholas) Avenues, as
shown on the map of Tract No. 483, recorded in book
17, page 20, Niiscellanecus Naps, records of said Orange
County, and running thence North 0 02 23" East along
said center line of Euclid Avenue, 183.50 feet to the
Northeast corner of said Tract No. 483, said point
being the true point of beginning of the boundary of
the land described herein; thence North 89° 5'5 37"
West along the North line of said Tract N. 433, 398.00
feet; thence North 0 02 23" East, parallel with said
center line of Euclid Avenue, 170.48 feet to a point
in a curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius
of 168.00 feet, a radial line of said point bearing
South 35 35 48" East; thence Northeasterly along said
curve through a central angle of 35 Lot 11" an arc
distance of 104.59 feet to the end of said curve; thence
North 0° 02 23" East parallel with said center line of
Euclid Avenue, 406.50 feet to the North line of the
land described in the deed to Clarence Beatty Neighbors
and others, recorded December 30, 1949, in book 1948,
page 265, Official Records; thence along said North
line South 89° 55 37" East 299.98 feet to the said
center line of Euclid Avenue; thence South 0° 02 23"
West along said center line, 608.50 feet to the true
point of beginning;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the East 53.00 feet for the future
widening of Euclid Avenue.
PARCEL B.
That portion of the Southeast quarter of Section 5, in
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in book
51, page 10, Miscellaneous IJaps, records of Orange County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of La.

and running thence North 0° 02 23" East along said
center line of Euclid Avenue, 183.50 feet to the North-

55' 37" West along the North line of said Tract No. /483,
398.00 feet to the true point of beginning of the bound
ary of the land described herein; thence North 0° 02
23" East parallel with said center line of Euclid Avenue,
170.48 feet to a point in a curve concave Southeasterly
and having a radius of 168.00 feet, a radial line to
said point bearing South 35 351 48" East; thence North-
easterly along said curve through a central angle of
35° 14 11" an arc distance of 104.59 feet to the end
of said curve; thence North 0 02t 23" East parallel

cords; thence along said North line, North 55
37" West 1350.02 feet to the Northwest corner of
the land described in said Deed to Clarence Beatty
Neighbors; thence along the West line of said land
South 0 02t 23" West 406.50 feet to the Northwest
corner of said Tract No. 483; thence along the North
line of said Tract, South 89° 551 37" East 1252.00
feet, more or less, to the true point of beginning;
be excluded from the R -A, RESIDENTIAL- AGR1CULTURAL ZONE, and
incorporated in the following zones:
That Parcel A of subject property be changed to C -1,
NEIGHPORHOOD- CCERCIAL ZONE; and
That Parcel B, above described, be changed to R -3,
PNULTIPLE- FALILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE,
upon the conditions hereinafter set forth:
1. That the final map of Tract No. 3612 be recorded in
the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California, or
A.. That the owners of subject property deed to the
City of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet in
width, from the center line of the street,
along Euclid Avenue for street widening purposes.
(1) That all engineering requirements of the
City of Anaheit<<, such as curbs and gutters,
sidewalks, street grading and paving, drain
age facilities, or other appurtenant work be
complied with as required by the City Engineer
and in accordance with standard plans and spec-
ifications on file in t?: Office of the City
Engineer; and (b) that a bond in an amount
form satisfactory to the City of Anaheir
be posted with the City to guarantee the in-
stallation of said engineering requireents.
C. That the owners of subject property pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front
for street lighting purposes.
2. That the owners of the R -3 portion of subject property
pay to the City of Anaheim the surd of $25.00 per
dwelling unit, to be used for pant and recreation
purposes, said sum to be paid at the time the build-
ing permit is issued.
3. That the setback line shall be at the 72 foot
width on the cul -de -sac streets.
That the C -1 portion of subject property be devel-
oped in accordance with the plans presented to the
City Council and on file with the City of Anaheim.
2. That the owners of subject property pay to the City
of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 17er dwelling unit, to
be used for park and recreation purposes, said sum
to be paid at the time the building permit is issued.
3. That Condition No. 1 or Conditions A, B and C, above
mentioned, be complied with within a period of 160
days from date hereof, or such further time as the
City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and de-
termined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by

be submitted to the City Council for approval.
6. That Condition No. 1 or Conditions A, B and 0,
above mentioned, be complied with within a period
of days from date hereof, or such further
time as the City Council Lay grant.

he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and de-
termined to be necessary and proper.
