A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM GRANTING A VARIANGE(NO. 1272)
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from the pgpp
artyxawnorxxxxxxgRA/Pr Lessee of certain real prop-
erty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
All that certain land situated in the State of California, County
of Orange, City of Anaheim described as follows:
That portion of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
Section 27, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San
Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map recorded in hool 51,
page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Westerly line
of the Northwest quarter of said Section 27, distant South 0° 116 55"
East 660.01 feet from the Northwest corner of said Section 27; thence
North 09° 50 30" East 395.00 feet; thence South 0 48t 55" East
330.00 feet; thence South 59 54t 30" West 395.00 feet to the West-
esly Um; of the Northwest quarter of said Section 27; thence North
0 48: 55" West 330.00 feet to the point of beginning.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a pub-
lic hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said peti-
tion on July 18, 1960 notices of which said public
hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of
Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investiga-
tion and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due
consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt its Resolution No. 25 recommending to the City Coun-
cil of the City of Anaheim that Variance No. 1272 be granted upon
the conditions stated in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that:
1. There are exceptional or extraordinary circum-
stances or conditions applicable to the property
involved or to the intended use of the property
that do not apply generally to the property or
class of use in the same vicinity and zone.
2. That such a variance is necessary for the pre-
servation and enjoyment of a substantial property
right possessed by other property in the same
vicinity and zone and denied to the property in
question.
3. That the granting of such variance will not be
materially detrimental to the public welfare or
injurious to the property or improvements in such
vicinity and zone in which the property is located.
4. That the granting of such variance will not ad-
versely affect the comprehensive general zoning
plan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that a conditional zoning variance be, and the
same is hereby granted to TIETZ CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, 11900 Gilbert Ave.
Garden Grove, California, permitting the construction of a de luxe
motel on the property hereinabove described, subject to the following
conditions:

2. That a strip of laid 57 feet in width, from the center line of

for street widening purposes.
3. (a) That all engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim,
such as curbs and cutters, sidewalks, street grading and
paving, drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work be
complied with as required by the City Engineer and in accord-
ance with standard plans and specifications on file in the
Office of the City Engineer; and (b) that a bond in an amount
and form satisfactory to the City of Anaheim be posted with
the City to guarantee the installation of said engineering
requirements.

The City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke such
variance permit for good cause or failure of said owner its
heirs); successors or assigns, to comply with the Anaheim Municipal
Code and regulations and the conditions herein. Said variance is
granted for the term prescribed by the Anaheim Municipal Code unless
otherwise specified herein.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this
