1960-6174RESOLUTION NO. 6174 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN R1 AT, PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore enter into an escrow with Halbert I. Hickman and Lillian B. Hickman, husband and wife, at Home Savings and Loan Association, 211 East Center Street, Anaheim, California, for the exchange of a certain par— cel of real property owned by them for a certain parcel of real property owned by the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, said Home Savings and Loan Association has closed said escrow, and a deed has been prepared conveying the hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that public convenience and necessity require the exchange of said parcels of real property above mentioned, and that the deed conveying that parcel owned by Halbert I. Hickman and Lillian B. Hickman to the City should be accepted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying the following de— scribed real property situated in the city of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to wit: A portion of the following described property which is a part of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho ;San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 51, Page 10 in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, and is more particularly described as: Beginning at a point on the northerly line of Lot 4, as shown on a map of a portion of said Section 9, made for F. W. Fleischman and filed in Book 1, Page 56, Record of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, distant North 89 46' 42" W. 664.99 feet along said northerly line and its easterly prolongation from the center line of West Street; thence North 89 46' 42" Nest 343.02 feet along said northerly line, to a line that is parallel with the easterly line of the west half of the northwest quarter of said Section 9; thence North 0 05' 08" East 103.19 feet along said parallel line to the southwest corner of Lot 12 of Tract No. 2373, as shown on a map recorded in Book 68, Pages 17 and 18 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County; thence along the boundary of said Tract No. 2373 the following courses and distances: North 78° 30' 39" East 117.85 feet to the point on a curve concave north— westerly and having a radius of 50.00 feet (a radial to said point bears South 41 50' 24" West); thence easterly along said curve 42.22 feet to a point (a radial to said point bears South 6 32 33" East); thence leaving said curve South 18 04' 46" East 101.01 feet; thence'North 71° 55 14" East 20.00 feet; thence North 18° 04' 46" West, 101.01 feet to a point on the above de- scribed curve (a radial to said point, bears South 29 36' 59" East); thence Northerly along said curve 95.89 feet to a point, (a radial to said point bears North 40 29' 55" East); thence leaving said curve, North 68° 36' 25 East 173.81 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 16 of said Tract No. 2373; thence South 0° 05 46" West 266.67 feet to the point of beginning. Said portion herein granted being the portion of the above described property which lies south easterly of a line that is parallel and concentric with and 44.50 feet northwesterly of the following described line: Commencing at the centerline in- tersection of West North Street and Loara Street in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California as said intersection is shown in County Surveyor.'' s Transit Book 116,0 Page' 57, on file in the Office of the County Surveyor of said County on December 12, 1957; thence N. 0 53' 10" West along said Loara Street centerline 509.65 feet to the true point of beginning of the line to be described; thence from said true point of beginning North 54 18' 12" East, 1176.44 feet to the begin- ning of a curve, tangent, concave northwesterly and having a radius of 1000.00 feet; thence northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 17 27 39" an arc distance of 304.75 feet to a line tangent; thence North 36 50 33" East, 472.16 feet along said tangent line to the beginning of a curve, tangent, concave southeasterly and having a radius of 800.00 feet; thence northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 35 51' 04" an arc distance of 500.58 feet to a line tangent; thence North 72 41 37" East, 815.21 feet along said tangent line to a point in the centerline of La Palma Avenue distant thereon North 89 35' 40" East, 1002.15 feet from the centerline of North West Street (south) as shown in County Surveyor's Transit Book 136, Page 48, on file in the Office of the County Surveyor of said County on December 12, 1957; to the City of Anaheim, be, and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
