A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 1306
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did receive a petition for zoning variance from James Ralph Henson,
Hemet,,, of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Lot 29 in Tract No, 1607,
Said property is located at 405 South Nest Street, Anaheim,
California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public
hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on 17th of
Octohpr 1 60 notice of which said public hearing was
duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due inspection,
investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 103 Series 19 6061
denying Variance No 1306 and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of
the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did elect, upon its
own motion, to review the action taken by the City Planning Commission
in denying said variance and did set a public hearing thereon
to be held on the 22d day of November, 1960 at 7:00
o'clock P.M. in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of
such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provi-
sions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that:
1. There is no substantial property right possessed by other
property in the same vicinity and zone and denied the
subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately
developed and used under the present zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission

denying the petition of James Ralph Henson, 3106 West Monroe Avenue,
Anaheim, California, for a zoning variance permitting the continued use
of the building on the rear of the property above described as a second
dwelling in an Rill "Zone be, and the same is hereby, sustained and that
Variance No 1306 be, and the same is hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 22d day of November 19 60
