A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings Noe F- 60- 61 -7Lt. to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolu-
tion containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evi-
dence presented at said hearing and a recommendation that the
proposed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that cer-
tain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did fix the llth day of
April 19 61 as the time, and the City Council Cham-
bers in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, here-
inafter described, from the zone in which it is now situated and
the incorporation thereof in the zone hereinafter set forth;
and did give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided
in said Title 18 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public
hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings,
and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated,
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended, and that the following des-
cribed property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:

That portion of Lot 7 of the Anaheim Extension, ac-
cording to the map of survey made by William Hamel,
acknowledged by Alfred Robinson, Trustee, and filed
for record in the office of the County Recorder of
Los Angeles County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the East line of said Lot 7,
distant thereon North 0° 07' 30" East, 782.83 feet
for a bolt in the pavement marking the Southeasterly
corner of said Lot 7, and running thence South 0
7' 30" West along the said East line, 112 feet; thence
South. 74 3L' 15" West to a point which is North
74° 341 15" East, 65 feet from the Southeasterly
corner of the land conveyed to Isaac A. Griffin by
deed recorded Aughtst 24, 1939 in Book 1004, page 599
of Official Records; thence Northwesterly, parallel
with the Easterly line of said land conveyed to
Griffin. to the Easterly extension of the Northwesterly
line of said land conveyed to Griffin; thence North
77° 40 East along said Easterly extension to a
point 163 feet South 83° 40' West of the point of
beginning; thence North 83° 40 East, 163 feet to the
point of beginning;
be excluded from the R-A, RESIDENTIAL- AGRICULTURAL ZONE,
and incorporated in the C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD- OOWERCIAL ZONE,
upon the following conditions:
1. That subject property be developed substantially
in accordance with the plans presented to the
City Council and on file with the City of Anaheim.
2. That the owner of subject property deed to the City
of Anaheim a strip of land S3 feet in width, from
the center line of the street, along Placentia
Avenue for street widening purposes.
3. (a) That all engineering requirements of the City
of Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street Grading and paving, drainage facilities,
or other appurtenant work be complied with as
required by the City Engineer and in accordance
with standard plans and specifications on file in
the Office of the City Engineer; and (b) that a
bond in an amount and form satisfactory to the
City of Anaheim be posted with the City to guar-
antee the installation of said engineering re-
quirements.
4. That the owner of subject property pay to the City
of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot for
street lighting purposes.
That provisions, satisfactory to the Anaheim Union
Water Company, be made tc protect the irrigation
pipeline referred to in the letter from Anaheim
Union Water Company to the City Planning Commission,
dated February 27, 1961, and on file with the City
of Anaheim, and that evidence of said satisfactory
arrangements be furnished to the City of Anaheim.
6. That Conditions Nos. 2, 3(b), 4, and 5, above mentioned,
be complied with within a period of 90 days from date
hereof, or such further time as the City Council may
grant.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and de-
termined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
