A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A DIRECTOR'S
GRANT DEED CONVEYING '10 THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL
PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore enter
into an escrow with STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
troDRKS, at United California Bank, Anaheim Office, Anaheim,
California, for the purchase of the hereinafter described real
property for municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS, said United California Bank is now ready to
close said escrow, and a deed has been prepared conveying said
property to the City of Anaheim free and clear of all encumbrances
except all covenants, conditions, restrictions, reservations,
rights, rights of way and easements of record, as approved by
the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Directorts Deed conveying the
following described property situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
That portion of the Southwest 1 ✓4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of Section 23, T. 4 S., R.
10 W., S.B.B. M., described in the Certi-
ficate of Title 8276 on file in the office
of the Registrar of Titles of said County,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in that certain course
given, in the description of Parcel 2 in a
deed to the State of California recorded
August 26, 1940, in Book 1058, page 188 of
Official Records in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, as "along said Easterly
line, N. 0 15 35" W., 400.80 feet distant
along said certain course North 0 1 5 1 35"
West, 142.95 feet from the Southerly terminus
thereof; thence continuing along said certain
course, North 0 15 35" West, 117.16 feet to
a curve, concave Northeasterly and having a
radius of 780.00 feet; thence from a tangent,
bearing South 50 00 40" East, Southeasterly
along said curve, through an angle of 3 26' 12
an arc distance of 46.79 feet; thence South
09° 07' 08" East, 29.00 feet; thence South
34 24 39" West, 72.18 feet to the point of
beginning.
EXCEPTING and RESERVING unto the State of
California any and all rights of ingress to or
egress from the real property herein conveyed
to or from the freeway constructed upon lands
lying Northerly of said real property; provided,
however, that said real property shall abut
upon and have access to a frontage road which
will be connected with said freeway only at
such points as may be established by public
authority.

ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom all minerals, oils,
gases and other hydrocarbons by whatsoever
name known, that may be within or under the
parcel of land hereinabove described without,
however, the right to drill, dig or mine
through the surface thereof;
to the City of Anaheim, free and clear of all encumbrances,
except as hereinabove set forth, be, and the same is hereby,
accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said escrow holder be,
and it is hereby, authorized to deliver to said Vendor the amount
of the purchase price for said property, heretofore deposited
in escrow, when all conditions of said escrow have been met
and complied with.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 28th day of March, 1961.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed and

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 28th day of
