A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED,
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings Noo F 60 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolu-
tion containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evi-
dence presented at said hearing and a recommendation that the
proposed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that cer-
tain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did fix the2lst day of
March 19 61 as the time, and the City Council Cham-
bers in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, here-
inafter described, from the zone in which it is now situated and
the incorporation thereof in the zone hereinafter set forth;
and did give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided
in said Title 18 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public
hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings,
and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated,
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended, and that the following des-
cribed property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:

PARCEL 1: The East 5 acres of the North 20 acres of
Lot 15 in Block "K" of the Kraemer Tract, in the
Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 12, Pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous
Records, in the Office of the County Recorder of Los
Angeles County, California.
PARCEL 2: The Southerly half of the Northerly half of
Lot 15 in Block "K" of the Kraemer Tract, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book
12, Pages 87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records, in the
Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California.
Said Parcels 1 and 2 are included within the area shown
on a map filed in Book 38, Page 27 of Record of Surveys,
in the Office of the County Recorder of baid Orange County.
be excluded from the R A, RESIDENTIAL-AGRIGULTURAL
ZONE, and incorporated in the following zone or zones,
upon the conditions hereinafter set forth:
That a strip of land 50 feet in width lying east of
and contiguous to the land to be deeded to the City
of Anaheim along Dowling Avenue for street widening
purposes, and a strip of land 50 feet in width lying
south of and contiguous to the land to be deeded to
the City of Anaheim along Anaheim Road for street
widening purposes, be incorporated in P -L, PARKING
LANDSCAPING ZONE; and
That the balance of said property be incorporated in
M -1, LIGHT MANUFACTURING ZONE;
upon the following conditions:
1. That the owner of subject property place of
record standard City of Anaheim M -1 Deed Restric-
tions covering the M -1 portion of said property,
approved by the City Attorney, which restrictions
shall prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages and
shall limit any residential use of subject pro-
perty to that of caretaker of the property.
2. That the owner of subject property deed to the
City of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet in width,
from the center line of the street, along Dowling
Avenue for street widening purposes.
3. That the owner of subject property deed to the
City of Anaheim a strip of land 45 feet in width,
from the center line of the street, along Anaheim
Road for street widening purposes.
4. (a) That all engineering requirements of the City
of Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks,
street grading and paving, drainage facilities or
other appurtenant work be complied with at the

time subject property is developed, as required
by the City Engineer and in accordance with
standard plans and specifications on file in the
office of the City Engineer; and (b) that a bond
in an amount and form satisfactory to the City of
Anaheim be posted with the City to guarantee the
installation of said engineering requirements at
the time the property is developed.
5. That the owner of subject property pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot,
along both Dowling Avenue and Anaheim Road for
street lighting purposes, said amount to be paid
at the time the property is developed, and when
the building permit is issued.
6. That the owner of subject property deed to the
City of Anaheim easements for public utility
purposes along the exterior boundaries of said
property as determined and required by the
Utilities Director of the City of Anaheim.
7. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4(b) and 6 above
mentioned, be complied with within a period of
90 days from date hereof, or such further time
as the City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and
he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and submit to
the City Council en ordinance amending Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein found and de-
termined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
