A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAn AND PI TRL I C UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous 6f purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and. public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered to
sell and convey the same to tie City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the'benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of BANK OF AMERICAN NATIONAL TRUST,
AND SAVINGS ASSOCIATION. a corporation. as Trustee Under the Last
Will and Testament of Bernard J He nz Dgceased.
to sell to the City of Anaheim t he following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to'b,e used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of land being a portion of Section 4,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and
Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the centerline of Romneya Drive, said
point being distant westerly 180 feet from the intersection of
the centerline of Harbor Blvd.; thence W. 0 20' 20" West to a
point on a line which is parallel with and distant 32 feet
Northerly of the centerline of Romneya Drive; thence easterly
along said parallel line a distance of 120 feet to a point, said
point being the beginning of a curve concave Northwesterly and
having a radius of 15 feet; thence Easterly and Northerly along
said curve thru a central angle of 90 an arc distance of 23.56 feet
to a point in a line parallel with and distant 45 feet Westerly
of the centerline of Harbor Blvd; thence N. 0 20'20" West 205
feet along the last mentioned parallel line to a point in a line
thich is parallel with and distant 252.00 feet North €rly to the
centerline of Romneya Drive; thence Easterly along the last mentionec
parallel line a distance of 15 feet to a point in a line parallel
with and distant 30 feet Westerly from the centerline of Harbor
Blvd; thence S. 0 20' 20" East along the last mentioned parallel
line to the centerline of Romneya Drive; thence Westerly along
said centerline to the point of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of March, 1961.
