A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to tie City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of MYRTLE E. SEARS, an unmarried
woman; G. HOWARD ROBERTSHAW and ELIETH M. ROBERTSHA husband and
wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4
of Section 24, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, San
Bernardino Base and Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of the NE 1/4 of said
Section 24, said corner also being the intersection of
the centerline of Ball Road with the centerline of
Magnolia Avenue; thence Southerly along the East line
of the NE 1/4 of said Section 24, a distance of 182.13
feet; thence Westerly parallel with the North line of
the NE 1/4 of said Section 24, to the intersection of a
line parallel with and 53.00 feet Westerly of the East
line of the NE 1/4 of said Section 24; thence Northerly
along the last mentioned parallel line a distance of
114.13 feet to the beginning of a curve concave South-
westerly and having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence
Northerly and Westerly along said curiae through a central
angle of 89° 59 25" an arc distance of 23.56 feet to
a point in a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Southerly
of the North line of the NE 1/4 of said Section 24;
thence Westerly along the last mentioned parallel line
a distance of 63.15 feet; thence Northerly parallel
with the East line of the NE 1/4 of said Section 24, to
the North line of the NE 114 of said Section 24; thence
Easterly along the North line of the NE 1/4 of said
Section 24, to the point of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 21st day of February 19 61
