A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING SHOULD BE AMENDED
AND THAT THE BOUNDARIES OF CERTAIN ZONES
SHOULD BE CHANGED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing in Reclassification Proceed-
ings No, F -60 -61 -103 to consider an amendment to
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to zoning and
to consider a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described, and at said hearing did
receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein
and from its staff; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty days following said
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly adopt a resolu-
tion containing a report of its findings, a summary of the evi-
dence presented at said hearing and a recommendation that the
proposed amendment be adopted by the City Council and that cer-
tain zone or zones be changed as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Council did fix the llth day of
Jul 19 61 as the time, and the City Council Cham-
bers in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim as the place for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code, and the exclusion of said property, here-
inafter described, from the zone in which it is now situated and
the incorporation thereof in the zone hereinafter set forth;
and did give notice thereof in the manner and form as provided
in said Title 18 of said Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did there-
upon consider the summary of evidence presented at said public
hearing before the Planning Commission, its report of findings,
and recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be adopted and that the property hereinafter described should
be excluded from the zone or zones in which it is now situated,
and incorporated in the zone or zones as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended, and that the following des-
cribed property, situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:

Lots 6, 7 and 8 of Orange Grove Acres, in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as shown on a map thereof recorded in
Book 6, Page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps on file in
the office of the County Recorder of said county.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of said Lot 6
described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast
corner of said Lot 6; thence Westerly along the
Southerly line thereof 50.00 feet; thence northerly,
parallel with the Easterly line of said lot, 20.00
feet; thence Easterly, parallelwith the Southerly
line of said lot, 50.00 feet to the East line of
said lot; thence Southerly along said East line,
20.00 feet to the point of beginning.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM: The Northerly 200 feet
of said Lot 7, measured along the West line of said
Lot 7 from the center line of the street adjoining
said lot on the North, of the Westerly 120.00 feet
measured along said center line.
be excluded from the R -A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL
ZONE, and incorporated in the following zone or zones:
That a strip of land 50 feet in width lying south
of and contiguous to the land to be deed to the
City of Anaheim along La Palma Avenue, in accordance
with Condition No. 1 hereof, shall be incorporated
in the P -L, Parking- Landscaping Zone; and
That the balance of said property shall be incor-
porated in M -1, Light Manufacturing Zone,
upon the following conditions:
1. That the owners of subject property deed to
the City of Anaheim a strip of land 53 feet
in width, from the center line of the street,
along La Palma Avenue for street widening
purposes.
2. That the owners of subject property deed to
the City of Anaheim a strip of land 60 feet
in width along the Riverside Freeway for a
service road.
3. (a) That all engineering requirements of
the City of Anaheim along La Palma Avenue
and along the service road abutting the
Riverside Freeway, such as curbs and gutters,
sidewalks, street grading and paving, drainage
facilities, or other appurtenant work be
complied with as required by the City Engineer
and in accordance with standard plans and
specifications on file in the Office of the
City Engineer; provided, however, that a
temporary waiver of sidewalk requirements be
granted until required by the City Engineer;
and (b) that a bond in an amount and form
satisfactory to the City of Anaheim be posted
with the City to guarantee the installation

5. That the owners of subject property deed to
the City of Anaheim easements for public
utility purposes along the exterior boundaries
of said property as determined and required
by the Utilities Director of the City of
Anaheim, at or prior to the time of development
of subject property.
6. That the owners of subject property place of
record City of Anaheim M -1 Deed Restrictions,
approved by the City Attorney, covering the
M -1 portion of subject property.
7. That a 50 -foot landscaped strip shall be
provided abutting the planned highway right of
way line, except for access drives or walks;
and that plans for said landscaping and water
supply system shall be subject to the approval
of the Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance
of the City of Anaheim.
8. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 3(b) and 6 above
mentioned be complied with within a period of
90 days from date hereof, or such further
time as the City Council may grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and
submit to the City Council an ordinance amending Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the objects herein
found and determined to be necessary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this llth day of July, 1961.

4. That the owners of subject property either:
(a) Pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2
per front foot along La Palma Avenue and
along the service road abutting the
Riverside Freeway, for street lighting
purposes; or
(b) Install street lights at the time subject
property is developed, in accordance with
plans and specificationsapproved by the
Utilities Director of the City of Anaheim.
