A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR EASEMENTS FOR A WATER TRANSMISSION MAIN.

WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, on November
8, 1960, adopt Resolution No. 6440 authorizing the purchase from
Robert J. Marshall, a married man, who acquired title as a single
man, of the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit: Easements for a water transmission main; and
WHEREAS, a deed has been prepared conveying said property
to the City of Anaheim free and clear of all encumbrances, except
all covenants, conditions, restrictions, reservations, rights,
rights of way and easements of record, as approved by the City
Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying to the City of Anaheim
the following described property, situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, to be used for easements
for a water transmission main, and more particularly described
as follows:
A permanent easement, with the right to construct, use,
maintain, repair and inspect a 36 -inch Water Transmission
Main, over, under and across that real property described
as follows:
PARCEL 1:
A strip of land 20 feet in width over, under and across
a portion of Lot 4 as shown on a map thereof, recorded
in Book 1 page 29 of Records of Survey in the Office
of the Recorder of Orange County, California, lying
10 feet on each side of the following described center-
line:
Commencing at the West quarter corner of Section 4,
Township 4 South, Range 9 West, S.B.B. M., said
quarter corner being in the centerline of Jefferson
Street (60 feet wide), and running thence S. 2 08
12" W. along the West line of said Section and said
Centerline 41.77 feet; thence S. 87 51' 48" E. 40.00
feet to the true point of beginning of the centerline
hereinafter described; thence S. 2 08' 12" W. parallel
with said Section line 154.72 feet to a line parallel
with and distant northeasterly 10 feet, measured at
right angles, from the Northeasterly line of the
Riverside Freeway as shown on a Highway Right of Way
Map entitled "Road VII -ORA -175 -B from Sta. 428+ 73.85
to Jct. ORA -43-B" dated November 1952, State of
California, Department of Public Works, Division of
Highways, and running thence S. 28° 50' 09" E. 104.22
feet along said parallel line to an angle point therein;

thence southeasterly along said parallel line, said
prallel line being at this point a curve, the radius
point of which bears S. 28 14' 48" W. 2096.00 feet
from said angle point; thence southeasterly 266.45
feet along said parallel line and curve through a central
angle of 17 17' 01" to a line radial to centerline
station 502 +00 as shown on said Right of Way Map;
thence departing from said parallel line S. 47 351 32"
E. 269.47 feet to a point in a line radial to Sta. 504+
57.83 as shown on said Right of Way Map and in a line
parallel with and distant northeasterly 10 feet, measured
at right angles, from said Northeasterly lines; thence
S. 47 05' 00" E. along said parallel line 169.16
feet to the Northerly line of the Orange County Water
District's Santa Ana River Channel. The sidelines of
the above described 20 -foot wide strip to be shortened
or lengthened as the case may be so as to terminate in
said Northerly Santa An River Channel line.
A temporary construction easement over, under and
across that parcel of land described as follows:
PARCEL 2:
A strip of land 20 -feet in width, the southerly line
of which is continuous with the northeasterly line of
above described 20 -foot wide Permanent Easement, last
mentioned 20 -foot strip to originate in a line bearing
S. 87 51' 48" E. from the true point of beginning of
the above described Centerline and to terminate in said
Northerly line of the Santa Ana River Channel. Said
easement to expire at the completion of construction;
free and clear of all encumbrances, except as hereinabove set forth,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor be, and he
is hereby, authorized to deliver to said Vendor the amount of the
purchase price of said easements, as set forth in Resolution
No. 6440•
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
