A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 1351
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
did receive a petition for zoning variance from DALE W. McDONALD
and MARY A. McDONALD, owners of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Lot 8 in. Block C of Tract No. 131, as shown on a
map recorded in book 11, page 22, !Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public
hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on May 1 st
19 61 notice of which said public hearing was
duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18,
Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due inspection,
investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 255 Series 19 60 -61
denying Variance No. 1357 and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of
the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did elect, upon its
own motion, to review the action taken by the City Planning Commission
in denying said variance and did set a public hearing thereon
to be held on the 6th day of June, 1961 at 7:00
o'clock P.M. in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of
such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provi-
sions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that:
1. There is no substantial property right possessed by other
property in the same vicinity and zone and denied the
subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately
developed and used under the present zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission denying
Veriance No. 1357 be, and the same is hereby sustained, and that the
petition of Dale W. and Mary A. McDonald for a waiver of the minimum
floor area requirements, minimum sideyard building setback require-

ments and minimum space requirements between buildings on the
property hereinabove described, be, and the same is hereby,
denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 6th day of June 19 61•
