1961-6917RESOLUTION NO. 6 9 1 7 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore enter into an escrow with EDMUNDO TAFOLLA and NELLIE TAFOLLA, husband and wife, at United California Bank, Anaheim Office, Anaheim, California, for the purchase of the hereinafter described real property for municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, said United California Bank is now ready to close said escrow, and a deed has been prepared conveying said property to the City of Anaheim free and clear of all encum- brances except all general and special taxes for the fiscal year 1961 -62, and all covenants, conditions, restrictions, reservations, rights, rights of way and easements of record, as approved by the City Attorney. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying the following described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to wit: That portion of Lot A of Tract No. 97, as per map recorded in Book 11 Page 39 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said County, described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Lot A of Tract No. 97; thence North along the East line of Parry Avenue 1.0.62 feet to the Southwest corner of land conveyed to Macario D. Pena et ux., by Deed recorded January 20, 1939 in Book 9 77 Page 415 of Official Records; thence East parallel with the North line of Tract No. 97, 67.78 feet to the true point of beginning; trance continuing East parallel with the North line of Tract No. 97, 67.78 feet; thence South 45 feet parallel with the East line of Parry Avenue; thence West parallel with the North line of Tract No. 97, 67.78 feet; thence Northerly 45 feet to the true point of beginning; to the City of Anaheim, free and clear of all encumbrances, except as hereinabove set forth, be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said escrow holder be, and it is hereby, authorized to deliver to said Vendors the amount of the purchase price of said property, heretofore deposited in escrow, when all conditions of said escrow have been met and complied with.
